My first smoothie, with nutritional value
Posted by: Anonymous User ()

This is my first smoothie with my new Vita Prep 3 and I was so floored at how great it tasted that I put this spreadsheet together. You can view the google document with the ingredients and nutritional values here
----on my Google Docs

I have done a cost analysis too...(yeah I know, what a geek!)

peace,
vince

Thanks Vince. I take it you're liking your new VitaPrep3 winking smiley I appreciate the nutritional analysis. Sounds like something I would do. I'm actually floored by the amount of calories. I didn't realize - green smoothies must be very filling. I'm still researching and waffling on my blender decision.

Vince,
Excellent analysis!
And the ratio of carbs + protein + fat is almost exactly 80/10/10. Which if you have read this book by Doug Graham, you know is the optimal ratio.

Cheers,

Jeff

Hi, it’s very important to have good juice recipes that help you to keep the doctor away and keep healthy. Here I am talking about an article that has two immunity boost juice recipes. The first recipe can boost your immune system's fighting power. The second can help you fight the flu if you already have it while giving your immune system a boost. You can enjoy these juices as much or as little as you want. You can drink one everyday or up to three times a day depending on if you are sick or just improving your immune system. Remember, listen to your body. If you are juicing often and your body is sending you signals to slow down your intake, read an article about organic juice recipe …..

Just realized I missed that this is for three 24-oz bottles. So 705 calories isn't so many calories, after all.

Interesting comment by Jeff - 80/10/10. Good to know.
