Date: June 08, 2006 05:46PM hi all, i am wondering if anyone has tried dehydrating any veggies to dip into guacamole or salsa. sometimes i just get tired of raw carrot sticks!!!!
any ideas? thinking of baking carrot slices on the lowest heat to see what i get. thanks! Britt Re: substitute for chips?

Date: June 13, 2006 03:17AM Yes, the chips I liked most are the ones made from organic yams or sweet potatoes -- thin-sliced and dehydrated. Taro root came out kind of cool too, but I liked yams the best. I would light brush olive oil on the chips before dehydrating as well. (Haven't made them in a while as I found that dehydrated foods were so hard on digestion.) Re: substitute for chips?
