Date: September 20, 2007 04:01AM I grew up in Beaumont. It sucked...and we were poor. All we ate was Ramen noodles and Pb&J on white bread....thin on the peanut butter. Anyway, I live in Fort Worth now and I have just started to start changing my diet over the past 1 1/2 years. I am not completely raw yet...due to the fact that I'm broke, but I'm getting there. I do feel 100% better when I eat raw though... and I looked up a whole bunch of junk about meet to permanently deter me from it. Re: raw in Texas

Date: September 20, 2007 02:34PM PJ, I am from Houston. I live about 2 1/2 hours from there now but visit about once a month because of friends and family. There are some raw pot lucks there. I can't go because they are not on weekend nights. What side of town are you moving to? There seems to be a good raw community there. Re: raw in Texas

I'm in the Lewisville area and there is a raw group that meets in Denton and one in Dallas (google raw food meet ups). I'm just starting, haven't been to a meeting yet. If you're near Austin, there are several there. Re: raw in Texas
