New to Southern Cali.. looking for raw food community

I am new to Southern California, and just moved to Palm Desert (Palm Springs area) from Maui. I am seeking a raw food/organic community to join, and would love to get involved with people who enjoy the same lifestyle. If you know of anything close to my area, could you please let me know. Any info would be great
