I think that you need to get a little more help than this site will allow you...I don't think it is this site, rather something much deeper that you are dealing with. You are consistently back and forth and here and there...throwing in the towel and then, suddenly, ready to take extraordinary action. Listen, we all have our issues and I have listened and coached friends and family through some tough times, however, this site is not going to change your alcohol (whatever else) issues. I am not going to try and coach you into finding a support system for this topic specifically, because, as I have read over and over, so many have done so already. Frankly, it all begins to get a little old. In so many posts, there is always someone new trying to help you "see the light." I am sorry if this seems harsh and very frank, but I came to this site for inspiration and support in my raw living lifestyle, not to have to read over and over about how one day you think this site and other people just don't care or how you don't care anymore and then, the next day or so, you are revived and are going to pick up your head and push on. Hey, we all experience ups and downs from time to time. So many of us like to chat a bit about sensitive topics on this site, to absorb some inspiration and then try to give inspiration to others. After a little chat with some cyberfriends, we move on to other topics. If you don't like the support...well then..move on!! Re: New Life in Pa USA

Date: May 18, 2008 12:51AM A recent trip in the mountains, right after deep sorrow at hurting someone I love, seemed to be the spiritual spark that began my recovery from alcohol.
I stood 200 ft below the surface of the Earth in Laray Caverns in Virginia, and stared at rocks that have been there since almost the beginning of time, and on top of mountains looking over vistas that totally dwarf my life in time scale. All the while fighting back tears while other tourists went to and fro so happy. So I thought....I better get with the program. Brian Re: New Life in Pa USA

Date: September 23, 2008 12:10AM Last post in April, eh? Guess I'm a bit late for the party. :-)
Schuylkill county here. I'm in the absolute infancy stage of trying to go raw (and I can't stress TRYING enough). I'm pretty much looking for information right now as far as how to do RAW the right way. Any book suggestions? ** The irony of what I just said is funny if you think about it. We've been so detached from eating correctly that most of us have to seek books/information about how to eat natural food! :-) Thanks in advance. Re: New Life in Pa USA
