Buckweat lettuce from dehulled seeds?

I'm having real problems finding unhulled buckwheat within the EU.

Is it possible to grow buckwheat lettuce from dehulled seeds?

I sprinkled hulled buckwheat on some soil, watered them, and they sprouted. They went to flower and produced more buckwheat seed. Try it out! Be patient, they may take awhile to sprout! All I've ever used for this was hulless buckwheat groats (:
