novadermy?

I am on the mailing list of the "ecopolitan" raw restaurant, and Dr T the owner of it sent out something about this skin procedure called Novadermy which he recommended and was even organizing a trip to Mexico to do it. He included a link to the website: [www.novadermy.com]

I love the restaurant and the raw food message, and I can't understand how or why he could recommend this. It looks fishy to me, on the website obviously the pictures are not real! I mean, the after picture seems to be just an earlier picture. Because they look so old and are not taken in a clinical setting! Has anyone heard of this? Could it actually be real?

lol!... I sure wouldn't do it

"By utilizing a proven, revolutionary 10 day process in combination with vital placental stem cells, Novadermy guarantees the formation of an entirely new network of connective tissue and blood vessels."

'a proven, revolutionary 10 day process' -- but it's not even stated what the process is. And placental stem cells? Ick! Shady. And it reminds me of when a neighbor, when I was growing up, went to a spa in Switzerland for a couple weeks to get injected with cells from young sheep for his... ahem... lack of vitality.
