Ive read and heard the only way to get b12 is by eating meat eggs or dairy..

Can anyone end curiousity by telling me how raws and vegans get b12?
Or where it comes from other then meat?

And if its just a hoaks.

If you are 100% raw it is would be wise to take a suplement, as you can not get it 100% raw vegan and you do need it.

I take Jarrow formulas methyl B-12, you probably want the methylcobalamin, as the other one, I forget the name has cyanide as a by-product.

Hope this helps

B12 is a complex molecule made ONLY by certain strains of bacteria, including certain gut bacteria. In humans this happens too slowly and too far down in the gut, and with too little absorbtion to satisfy our needs, at least for the majority of us. In nature we would have been eating grasshoppers, game etc. which have b12 stored in their livers and flesh.

hope this helps

I was listening to Wolfe speaking that he eats ants every now and then for b12

Eating ants is so nasty, I cannot even imagine. I just sprinkle some nutritional yeast from time to time. Your body doesn't need a lot of B-12 and I have heard that your body can hold it for like 5 years.

unwashed garden food (in other words a little dirt) has b12. if its an organic garden you trust or wild then you should get v b12 from that. mostly propaganda bullshit from the meat industry
