I was looking up what type of Government Bhutan has and saw this --

Well...I just wonder how they can justify barging into people's homes because they decide a habit is "bad karma?" I mean, if they are not a theocracy and totalitarian, then it seems that they have rules which must be followed, but also autonomy to some degree?

I just ran across this when I was eracing the pencil marks in my daughter's World History textbook --

That definition of fascism in your daughter's textbook is incomplete; hopefully what she learns later on will be more exact(I'm assuming she's not in high school yet, or else, holy moley!).

This has nothing to do with fascism, anyhow. Bhutan is a Constitutional Monarchy the way The USSR was a Communist Utopia--NOT. Bhutan is a mostly tribalist monarchic system rife with ethnosectarian divisions. This smoking ban thing is an attempt to appear "modernized."
