Didnt I post something about this almost a year ago? meh... id rather people be eating lab grown meat, than raising tons of animals just for slaughter, for multiple reasons, so I think its the lesser of two evils, depending on how its done that is.

Isn't that incredibly resource and energy consumptive none the less? I guess this isn't the first time something like that has come into existence.

Gads, this makes me think of helping my in law with food preparation. It seems like I would have figured this out long ago. Cooking food and preparation sucks! I never felt that way before, but after last night, I don't enjoy it at all. I was helping stuff chicken, its so gross handling the stuff, and it took soooo long. It didn't help that she was so particular about the placement of every last piece.

Please if there is a gaud...help her neck to get better so she can handle her own chicken. I can hardly wait to move out!

Its pure misery from start to finish. I had to help clean the pots and pans out last night, and have been doing this more often. I was telling my partner that if they had to chase down there own chicken, kill, pluck, gut etc...I am sure nobody would do it. My inlaw would probably have heart failure before she ever got a hold of a chicken.

I so want to move on to my own situation, provided I have my ducks in a row so to speak, Im not there yet.

Ducks are great for slug control and natural fertilizer in a garden. Cute too, though they don't like to stay in rows so much winking smiley.

snail control too!!! I love ducks, they are so adorable... I had a pet duck when I was a kid, I raised from when it was very little, chickens too, they where all named, and all my friends, lol... the duck was named ferdinand, we would walk around looking for slugs and snails, and I would of course give him all of the ones I found, and sometimes id cuddle him, my parents found it so hilarious cause he would just sit there, content to hangout for awhile,lol... same with my rhode island red rooster, Arthur.

I saw geese in a row the other day, walking accross the trail, was rather cute. So, I started saying my geese in a row.
