Gargle with salt water and keep your mouth very clean, stay well hydrated, get enough rest and sleep, use coloidal silver, ginger tea with lemon and honey if you use it (it's not vegan), minced garlic swallowed with a mouthful of water, therapeutic doses of vitamin C (you can find whole food supplements or drink lots of fresh citrus juice) oil of oregano. Nasal lavage like with a neti pot helps to keep sinuses hydrated and also works to flush away any viruses or bacteria. The same is true about drinking warm liquids, they work to wash things from the throat into the digestive system where they can't survive. Best. Re: sore throat

Date: March 31, 2011 11:26PM Oh, right, that's a good one. Zinc lozenges as well, zinc dissolved in the mouth is very healing to traumatized tissue there. Just make sure NOT to take too much, a build up in the body is not good. Follow the recommended dosage and check the ingredients on any supplements you might be taking to make sure you don't max out.
