Vitamin B 12 Shot for SAD Older Person

I just wanted to post this because it may help others a great deal.

My friend who is a senior lady has been very ill for the past year and she thought she might die. She didn't know what was wrong, just that her stomach was troubling her and she didn't feel like eating and when she did it often made her nauseated. She lost weight and she was thin to begin with. I honestly thought she might have stomach cancer.

She went to see her Dr. often, she saw a specialist and all of them didn't have any answers. She came to me to ask about some holistic options which I wrote down for her..simple things like drinking a few ounces of green juice, taking some Bragg apple cider vinegar daily, pro-biotics, trying some liquid B vitamins etc.

What helped her? She asked her Dr. for a B 12 shot and that week she felt human again. She said it perked her up that first week and plans on getting a B 12 shot every month. She's gained weight now, eats better, and can do more things with less fatigue.


Some of the most simple things can make the biggest difference.

B12 deficiency in older age isn't uncommon; what sort of doctors are these?! Glad she's doing better, Prism, and thanks for posting.

A vitamin B 12 shot is only a few dollars...quite an inexpensive fix compared to all kinds of prescription medications some Dr.'s would rather push on people.
