knee pain

Date: May 26, 2007 03:04AM Has anyone had knee pain that you’d associate with eating raw? I don’t recall ever having read that this is a sign of detox. Now my knees hurt pretty much all day. Only when I sit in meditation though does it really hurt badly. I’ll see if I can sit in a chair in the Dharma Hall if it doesn’t get better real soon. The pain couldn't be from the sitting meditation. I've been sitting for a long time already.

Date: May 26, 2007 12:31PM Hi TS! i have actually read that pain in the joints is a sign of detox. i think this is the website where i read this:
[www.rawfoodexplained.com] i myself have previous knee and foot injuries from ballet and a boating accident. now, in almost my 4th week of being raw, these old aches and pains are back. so badly that i can not actually sit in the lotus position without my knee popping out of place. very painful. but i know this is just my body healing itself. it is slowly getting better. good luck. i am sending positive thoughts your way!
