Greetings, I'm selling my Green Star 3000. Thought I would post it on here prior to eBay. Selling price is $300 + shipping. I will include the living with green star book and juicing with a green star DVD as well as the soft fruit knob. The juicer works perfectly and am only selling it to upgrade. It could use a new wood/plastic plunger, both can be purchased for $20 let me know if intereste

You may want to check out the healthy juicer for wheatgrass. I use it and find it works very well, plus it's not too expensive and it's portable. -Jon

The healthy juicer is a great manual juicer for wheatgrass. I prefer to use it for wheatgrass over my greenstar look about half way down the page. Cheers, Jon

I'm curious about the loss of enzymes from storing it overnight vs the loss using a centrifugal juicer. I know GS claims you can store your juice for a short period with minimal loss of nutrients but I am a bit skeptical

Lately I have not found the time to make juice in the am prior to leaving for work. I'm wondering which would be better? 1. Juice in the evening with my greenstar and store it in an air tight container in the fridge for morning or 1. Juice in th morning using a centrifugal type juicer and drink it right away."

I once weighed/measured two separate pounds of carrots. I took the first pound and juiced it through the omega 8005 single auger juicer. I then took the second pound and juiced it through the juiceman pro centriful juicer and was somewhat surprised to see that there was no real noticeable difference in the amount of juice produced by each juicer. Had I juiced greens there would have been no ques

Can someone please explain what the difference is between Coconut kefir and coconut water? Is the kefir more nutritious? Is it safe to drink the water directly from the coconut? Thanks, Jon

Has anyone purchased a vita mix at a demonstration? I'm curious if they are less expensive when purchases at a demo. The good people at vita mix will be performing a demonstration near me but not for about 5 months. I wonder if it's worth the wait? My current blender it the Jack Lalane Healthnaster and I'm sure it won't make it another year. Thanks, Jon

I own the GreenStar 3000 and Omega 8005 and i would say hands down go with the GreenStar. The feed chute on the Omega 8005 is smaller than the one on the GreenStar making it a tedious process to juice anything other than wheatgrass.
