vermontnl, Thanks for those links, good stuff. Update on my condition; A week or so ago I started feeling a bit more tired at the end of the day. Other than the fatigue, I do still get headaches once in awhile and my elbow joints hurt if I try to lify something heavy. I started consuming juices all day except for one solid meal, and I feel a lot better after that. Still continuing with the No

I've been using nosode doses daily along with Ledum 1M doses and so far I feel really good. Also cleaned up my diet pretty well, one cooked meal in the evening, that's all. Living in a home where everyone else eats cookedfood, it's too tough for me to go 100%. I'm not going to go the antibiotic route unless I would absolutely need to. The joint pain has subsided. Other than headaches the first

Does anyone have any experience with homeopathic nosodes? I came across a few threads on other forums on nosodes in which the postors claim to have great results using them. But then, after doing more reading online I see there is a movement against them as well. I would like to give them a try but not if they are "bad."

Sadly, no - not currently eating 100% raw. Over the winter months I succumb to eating like the rest of the family does. I am maybe 60% raw over the winter. In the summer months when local produce is more plentiful I can usually get to maybe 90%. I changed jobs awhile back and now am working ten hour days in a production plant, so my time for raw prep is a bit limited. But I'm trying! I do try to

I've already purchased the Zapper and am waiting on it to arrive. My older unit is a silver pulser by Bob Beck. I decided to opt for a newer unit, as this on I use primarly for making the silver. At this point I am having a bit of constant joint pain. It is not alot but it is noticeable. The doctor wants me to put me on amoxicillin but she has said it is ultimately my decision. I'll check into th

My one lady friend years ago contracted lyme from her cat. She lived in the city and would let the cat out in her backyard. She never did any hiking or outdoor activities yet still got it. I haven't looked into whether there are essential oils that will repel them, but in the last few days I have read on sites that some practitioners recommend low homeopathic doses for a preventive treatment.

Ledum 1M is suggested in this article. I've read similar dosage on other websites.

Thanks for that, Prana. I do know about the Rife machine too. Do you have any experience with zappers or the like?

A TENS unit is an electrical gizmo along the lines of a zapper. Typically a pain relief device, although if you read a bit on them, you can actually make your own colloidal silver with it. I purchased one years ago for a bad back & sciatia pain and I swear by them. Some will argue (of course) that they only "mask" the pain, but I know firsthand that it stimulates & promot

Thanks so much for that info. I have a TENS unit and another type of zapper I purchased years ago for making colloidal silver. I am going to look into this, for sure.

I've been having typical Lyme symptoms for a few weeks now. I'm going to schedule an appt. for the test(s), although from what I understand they are inconclusive anyway. Doing some online research on alternative treatmenst, I have discovered Ledum Palustre. It is regulary used in the veterinary field for dogs, cats, horses and more. Many folks claim excellent results whan using it as their mai

"Maybe your prostate has enlarged and cut down on your bladder space. That happens a lot to middle age men." Possible - I've been a strict vegan for many years though, and I was under the impression from past reading that enlarged prostate is normally caused from a SAD diet. I don't really have the other symptoms of getting up in the middle of sleeping to urinate. "You could

SueZ mentioned Tavis Bradley; A snippet from his site - " Taking it one step further i did not consume any water for those 1st 10 years, I went as far as not even allowing a drop of water from the shower to pass my lips.. " I've heard of other folks doig this as well, only taking in water from juices or high water content foods. Interesting concept. Coming from my athletic backgr

I use Himalayan salt, so no problem there. Not sure how I would enjoy freshly ground salt on all my foods, though. I don't have that much of a taste for it. I'll have to read up on Tavis Bradley & do more research.

I'm a 46 yo male, relatively clean diet, active outdoors, strict vegan, maybe 60% raw at this point. (trying to mover closer to 100%) Off/on bodybuilder (lol) More of a biker/hiker at this point, but I do still lift weights/bodyweight exercises. When I increase my intake of water, it sees to go right through me. I've done some reading on this and research suggests that I may be low in mineral

Update - I am still dealing with this. From what I understand, I have contact dermatitis resulting from the chemical spray. A couple of co-workers suggested hydrocortisone creams. I tried that, and it stung & didn't really do anything for me other than irritate it more. Some searches for natural healing turned up vitamin E, coconut oil, natural oils. I had some coconut oil on hand

"Also, the entire AXE body "care" line is made of the devil's spit, so it's no wonder." LOL - agreed! To my dismay, both of my Aloe plants are dried up. Guess I haven't been caring for them properly. The are both over a 8" or so tall and are green/healthy looking, but the leaves are completely flat with nothing in them... Never had that happen before. Is there any w

I have two large aloe plants - I will try that. Don't know why I didn't think of that myself... I did apply some calamine lotion the other day and it stung/burned as much as the initial deoderant did. Usually that lotion provides some relief.

SO, I was at the gym and after workout used a buddy's "Axe" deoderant spray. I usually use some natural stuff I have, but ran out. Immediately I felt a burning/stinging sensation and ran to the sink & washed it off. Too late, I now have a nasty chemical burn in the whole armpit area. I have used antibiotic ointment for a couple of days but it doesn't seem to be improving very mu

Hi coco, I did google beforehand & have found mixed info., particularly in regards to the local medical professionals not knowing much on how to treat venomous bites. Maybe I will get in touch w/ the local hospitals/medical centers & see what they have to say about this. On a related note, a farmer friend of mine got bit recently by a spider and he didn't know he got bit. Within a c
