lol... just to screw you up some more but I think organic is more ethical... and more often than not better quality. I have read about the farmers and whatnot who get messed up from working around the chemicals. I personally will eat a lower brix organic, then eat a higher brix food that isnt... I think the key is to look at the foods your buying after testing them with the brix.

I dont plan on eatin a whole ton of nuts. Maybe around 2 ounces every day, or other day probably with salad. I just want some variety in my food, and to eat what I crave. That is all. I talked to a Master Herbalist... he said just to chew them really well, and not combine with fruits. I am going to trust my instincts and eat the ones I like. I dont really like walnuts, pumpkin seeds, or a

I have Rita Romano's book... Dining in the Raw, and she explains enzyme inhibitors. Enzyme inhibitors existing in ungerminated seeds, nutts, grains, and legumes. She makes a reference to a Dr. Howell. After looking up more of this guy I found that he even says things like raw eggs, raw potatoes have enzyme inhibitors... because they are seeds. He was interviewed by this actual website. Now

" It's been 5 wks since I had the flu and I continue to feel the worst I ever felt in my life. I can't do half of what I did - working out, even after 1 minute leaves my legs shaking and me wanting to cry. Prior to the flu I was raw for about 13 days. (usually had at least 75% living foods in my diet before that) After those around me got the bug, I knew it was more than detox. In any case,

I wouldnt be eating that much buckwheat "Due to the growing popularity of sprouts in general, and a widespread ignorance as to the toxic dangers posed by buckwheat greens specifically, many people are today suffering unnecessarily. The basic problem with buckwheat greens is that they contain fagopyrin, a naturally occurring substance in the buckwheat plant. When ingested in sufficient

sounds like detoxing... from everything I have read, this is a common thing that happens. The blood becomes to thin for the body, to fast. So the body needs time to adjust to the thinner blood. I would assume its easier to get nose bleeds during this time aswell.

I know this... when a person has multiple personality disorder, thier eyesight changes. So eyesight is definitly a mental thing. Louis Hay says it comes from witnessing things we do not want to see as children. My father and others says it comes from living in cities, where the furthest thing you see, is the building accross the street. Others say it has to do with diet... some say it is from

no... but the trailer looks kinda scary... probably a good one to watch just saw another doc after... God Grew tired of Us it was about the lost boys in sudan... it was very inspiring as well... there was a part where a man gets ruinited with his mom after 17 years. She fell to the ground... her body could not handle the emotion. Then she sang and jumped around for a bit... her son seemed

I have heard of two methods to restore eyesight... one is sungazing the other is faith based. It takes about 6 weeks, but a person just takes off thier glasses and just live thier life normally. Then in an instant the eyesight recovers. This happens to students of a course in miracles, which is a book.

do you have metal amalagam fillings? this could be part of the problems I also read a post where a Master Herbalist mentions that the blood gets thinner as we detox. Leaving a persons gums bleed easier than usual. The body may not have been ready for the thinning of the blood and take a bit of time to adjust. He also said it could have been a detox reaction. It was also recommened to st

As for the baby thing... lol, that was done well over a hundred years ago. And I am just citing it as an example. Just like the only reason we know exactly how much electricity it takes to hurt the heart and kill some one is because the nazis did the experiments during world war 2. I am not saying its justified, because like you coco I dont think is humane. But atleast we now have the informa

I know this.... not one single cell in any organism is made from what it eats. Studies have been done with a babies, where they are weighed then sealed in a room. Then all the food is measured that goes in the baby, as well as all the waste that goes out of the baby. The food given to the baby weighs the same as the waste that goes out. The same thing has been done with plants... where a tr

thanks for the support everyone lol... its strange how I have been programmed to believe certain concepts... I gotta trust my feelings and instincts more The only thing I truly know is that I was given life... and that this body tells me things on how to survive here. I wonder what I tell the body? When I was little I remember the taste of eggs made me want to throw up. They were a

I think I might have an answer to my question that just came from doing some searching. It is sun gazing. In the bottom paragraph it talks about people who only used the energy of the sun to live on, and making sure we walk in barefeet on the soil for 45 minutes a day. Makes sense to me... I mean plants do it. And I know that the body does not make one single cell from the food we eat, n

EZrider... I understand your point, and completely agree with you. Mostly because I know the body can go without food for 30 days as long as it is getting water. However am concerned about the weightloss, cold hands and feet, constant bread craving, and dry skin. Is this normal? is this part of the transition and body detox.

Good Idea! If I eat brown rice in the evening to help the transition, this could be all I need for carbs. Because I feel this is my only problem in the raw food diet. Thanks David! I can do everything raw... it is just the energy thing. Perhaps after the 30 years of eating SAD my body had to adapt to this lifestyle, and that it will take some time for the body to return back to raw foods.

detox is what I was thinking Bryan... but I also find my body getting really dry (like no oils) and kinda achy... especially the lips and nose. (perhaps eating a day of only avocados or bananas would be a solution) I also get really cold hands and feet, which I attribute to low carbs, not to mention I lose weight like crazy! As for the amount of fruit... probably like 10 grapefruit, a pineapp

yeah I hear what you guys are saying... I have been trying to go entirely raw for the last year now. But I find myself cheating every now and again, mostly carbohydrates. As for food, I know that the best foods are those that are raw... alkaline... high in brix... whole... natural... non-animal... and properly combined. The reason I know this is because I have this strange health problem,

hello everyone, this is my first post here and I truely want to go 100% raw, but I have been having a bit of a problem. It is in regards to energy... I am able to live off of fruits and veggies no problem for about 2 weeks, then come week 3 I get low energy, and intense cravings for bread. I believe my body is craving complex carbohydrates, or is not getting enough energy. I think it cou
