Currently I dislike a lot of raw vegtables.Is eating them steamed with a topping I enjoy still getting A LOT of value out of them or once they r steamed they are pretty much the same as all cooked foods.

Has anyone heard it is no good to mix sweet fruit with tomatoes and cucumbers and.... I only really enjoy sweet fruit and I was throughing in my tomatoes and cucmbers so to get those types of nutrients into diet until I heard sweet fruit is only fruit digesting in small intestines.Tomatoes and others digest in stomach,thus causing digestion problems. I can only do so much!! Has anyone heard

I think I have a pretty good balance on the value of caring for mind,body spirt as we walk through life. Sweet fruit: Acid or Alkaline? (forgive spelling) Been reading a lot about people like Dr. Robert Young coming along w/ "scientific" research that suggests becuase of sugar content fruit is acidic.(Regardless of whether it is natural sugars) Your thoughts?

Dave, Dave how long do wait in between meals as a general rule?? Tried eating mono last night & enjoyed it-had cooked Quiena-. I liked it.I found it a simple way to eat,not thinking what else am I going to add to the mix. I am new & hear all this talk about Green Smothies. Can someone tel me what they are since I was unable to get a clear definition on this site. I thought it would be a great way to get my raw greens into my diet since I dont enjoy them & especially sitting there & chewing something I dont like.However,I could probally put them in a blender if that is what a smoothie is. Has anyone had any experiece w/ eating only one fruit or food at a time & waiting 45 min to 2hours to eat something else. Wow! I heard a couple of so caled "experts" suggest eating this way? Funds are somewhat tight. I have about 2 to 3 hundred dollars to spend.I am new to raw food eating. I do have a champion juicers 2000 which I enjoy using.(bannna ice cream -yum!) I have several question. Brand new! I bought some raw nuts.Whats best way to activate the enzymes? Dont have machines yet. Was told 2put them in water 4 24hrs and then dry them.Easy enough.Will this work or is there something I dont understand? What do I look4 that shows enzymes r active? also,Bought 1st coconut. Hi, I want to experiment more with juicing.I have a champion and it works well. Can I juice regular,convential grown Sweet Potatoes? Is it ok for me and will it cause damage to machine? Also Beets? They r real hard.How do I prep them for juicing? Thanks, KIS
