Friday, Day 123, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Good day today, it was in the high 70s and sunny. The bible study went well this evening. Also, i ate a Durian. Well, one of my durian didn't make it quite to the weekend. i had it for dinner this evening. i still have one more. Oh, it was sooo delicious. My wife had some and my daughter had a choice between my wife's homemade peanut butter-oatmeal cookies (k

Thursday, Day 122, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i ate well today and i had a tremendous workout. i am wondering if i should use eat workout to focus either on upper body or lower body the way the bodybuilders do. i may try that with the bodyweight workouts i am doing. But i have always been careful to keep a balance in my workouts, which is why i usually do both in the same workout. But i noticed that i

Wednesday, Day 121, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Was very pleasantly surprised today in that i was able to obtain a nice bunch of Durian. Without going into details, i obtained some funds from a surprise source that allowed me to pay a bill and get this delicious fruit. i bought two, nice durians about 7lbs apiece and i got two boxes of the frozen pods. The plan is to bring one of the whole fruit with me

Tuesday, Day 120, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Now i am at the 4 month point. Seems like nothing in terms of time. Like i am still at the very beginning and just getting started. That's probably because it is indeed the very beginning and i am just getting started. But i am in a flow now in terms of foodstuffs. Meaning that, although i still get cravings for crazy things like fried chicken or fried fish,

Monday, Day 119, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Just as blissful as the weekend was, today was full of troubles. But at least i have the memory of such a sweet weekend to help me move forward. Also, one very nice thing about today, i ate my other Durian for breakfast. i shared some with my wife and daughter, it was delicious. The thing about Durian is that it always leaves you wanting more. Perhaps if i at

Sunday, Day 118, 100% Raw Fruitarian. They say when it rains, it pours. i have found that to be true. My life seems to be made of a long series of feast or famine. This weekend can definitely be characterized as feast. After the terrific day of spiritual renewal, fellowship and delicious raw food yesterday, today was even richer on the food front. With some of the offering we received, i got perm

Saturday, Day 117, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Wonderful and blessed day today. We had a Raw potluck in the afternoon and in the morning we had a fellowship/worship in our home with some like believers. We had planned the potluck, not having the resources for it, but the Lord provided wonderfully. We received plenty of raw foodstuffs and my wife prepared raw tacos, raw "tuna" as well as a larg

Wednesday, Day 114, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i would characterize today as a tomato day for sure. There was a sale on Roma Tomatoes at a couple of stores today at $1/lb. i was blessed to be able to secure about 6lbs of them. They are delicious. i think i ate about 8 of them today. They are shaped like large plums and the color and texture of them were such that i was able to get good quality. Then i

Monday, Day 112, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i have noticed that over the last 2 days i have had an increase of eliminations. Its one of those times where i believe my body is cleansing itself. My body felt lighter and as i went on the scale, sure enough, i lost 3lbs. i was 180lbs. The last time i was 180lbs (not including times on juice fasts), was about 20 years ago. Feels good. i had the opportunity

Sunday, Day 111, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i had to leave my house at 6:30am this morning. i spoke at a state prison. It was about 2 hours from me. i have done this many times over the years and its always very rewarding. i was invited by a local pastor that i met to discuss life insurance. When one meets men, some of whom are to spend the rest of their life behind bars, there is very little pretense.

Thursday, Day 108, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Today was an avocado day. i ate three of them today. i had one in my lunch (half in my sauce, half in my salad), then two more for dinner. i felt no ill effects at all and they were extremely satisfying. i like them when they are somewhat firm but have some give to them. They are very creamy and have a slight nutty flavor. Delicious. i have not gotten to th

If your goal is to be 100% raw, i like the suggestions above which appeared to recommend going slowly. Like up to 90%. But really, if your body is craving raw, go for it! i have heard of people who were aided by the Green smoothies. If you are having success with them then keep it up. i like them as well, but haven't had the urge for one in a long time. If you do go to 100%, make sure you are

Wednesday, Day 107, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i was feeling down on myself today. i am sure most people can relate. Like a failure. It was one of those decision-making days. Today i decided, that i am tired of debt, of owing people money. If my Heavenly Father can help me get out of debt, i will never get back into again. Ever. As i looked over the past few years of my life today, my mistakes seem lik

Tuesday, Day 106, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Another day of drama and intrigue. What else is new? Sometimes one phone call or email can really be something. Both for good and for evil. It can either cause such rejoicing that one walks on air the rest of the day or it can cause one to hold up the shield of faith with both hands and all the soul. The latter was the case today. But, praise my kind Father

Monday, Day 105, Raw Fruitarian. i ate very well today. i have to look up what food category chives are in, i would guess they are an herb. Well, they really added a nice zest to my dinner today. What a great blessing that they grow all over my yard and the neighborhood! i tell you the truth, one of life's great pleasures (at least for me), is a satisfying meal. Especially after a hard day. i am

Sunday, Day 104, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Life can be very interesting. The walk of faith even more so. There is pain in the growth in grace and the crucifixion of self, but there are also many joys and amusements. Tuesday, Day 99, 100% Raw Fruitarian. It was a trying type of day. Filled with things designed to cause anxiety if i let them. The type of day that requires faith. i am glad the Lord got me through it. Character must be developed in trial. There is simply no other way. i am glad the Spirit causes me to understand this, although, i cannot say i always rejoice in it. Not yet. In conjunction with th

Sunday, Day 97, 100% Raw Fruitarian. Sundays are days where we usually lounge around the house and relax. When the weather is good i run and/or play ball with my oldest son. In the morning, my wife and i usually talk for an hour or so, discussing what's going on in our lives, in the world and things pertaining to our family and the Kingdom of God. This morning time flew by on us as we talked unti

Saturday, Day 96, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i ate very well today. Better than i have eaten in about a week. It was a restful day, which i love. Friday, Day 95, 100% Raw Fruitarian. i was able to eat very well today. Interesting how the body adapts. Today, i ate about 1200 calories less than i was used to eating prior to this past week and i feel stuffed. That's because this week i was eating about 1000-1300 calories per day. That felt like a starvation diet. Today i was able to obtain two 20lb watermelons. Spring is definitely in the air
