I only consumed 500 calories and i burnt 275 of those off at the gym. Eeek. I think i did better today. For breakfast i had 2 red plums 1 banana 7 capers 3 sheets of nori w/mustard again (whats with that) Lunch i had 1 apple 1 slic

MY dear you cannot be so hard on yourself. Your doing well. I slip here and then is a slip. Maybe that's what your body needed at the time. Sometimes when i crave things i will stop and close my eyes and go into myself for a second to see if that's what i really want. Then i'll drink a glass of water and see if i'm still hungry. Sometimes works. That's awesoem about the grain lock! You have this

It sounds like you are doing really well. What you said about depression is so true. I think when i'm depressed i try to hide itbut laughing and smiling a little too much. I don't know if that makes any sense. I don't think there is raw yogurt but try making nut milks etc.

I read your all of your entries and you have really inspired me. I have gone back to %100 percent raw and it's so nice reading about someone else doing it and also someone very real. Reading some of the raw food books, they make it seem so easy, but it's nice to know we all have our up and down days. I have been going through a really rough time latley and am also an emotinal eater so it's nice t

Today woke up witha massive headache. Last night i went out for a friends birthday and cheated having 1 roll and 2 bites of sorbet. Oh well. Today I had saurkraut, seaweed, carrots, lettuce, seasme oil, smoothie: orange, strawberry, banana, 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 plum, Cheated and had a vegan wheat free piece of gingerbread. That hit my stomach like a rock. I will not do that again.

Woke up and had fresh squeezed orange juice, salad with lettuce, carrots, 1/2avacado, lemon and seasame oil. Then ate the rest of the avacado by rapping it in seaweed with saurkraut yum. Can anyone explain the 811 diet to me?

Update: No responses but I am doing a little better on my own. I think just writting about it helped me put things in perspective. Anyhow the more raw i eat the better i feel so lesson learned. Still if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks. Starfruit

I don't know if i can help you with the difficult dilema of helping the enviorment as well as yourself because i can certainly see your point of being discouraged by not eating local food. I sometimes sacrafice organic food for local food. Anyways what i can sympathize with is getting off a raw foods diet because it is hard socialy. That has been my biggest obstacle with sticking with raw foods i

So I went about 95% raw from March until July 9th. Sometimes it was a little less and sometimes a little more but I really needed it. The reason I went raw was because I was trying to battle bulimia that I haven’t had any problems with since. The raw food doesn't make me feel sick like the cook food did and I never felt like I had to purge myself of it. So for about 6 months I had been planni

Hello All. I have a question regarding the weight loss that is supposed to occur once you start eating raw. I have been eating raw pretty consitently at 90% with a couple breaks for a few months and i still havn't lost weight. I don't know what i might be doing to hold on to it. Otherwise my whole body feels so much more energized and happy but i feel heavy still in terms of weight. Any suggestio
