Ok, I've been RUNNING TO TOILET all morning...my nose is running. I think the goji manna is a laxative. IT WORKS VERY WELL, TOO WELL. I am detoxing from all ends at once, it seems. rofl.

TO date, just wanna add that after 27 days @100 percent raw my hubby is down 25 lbs! I am sooo proud of him. (He is 6'9 and was pushing 300) My youngest, who is 8 and has been about 75 percent raw (he was nearly 25 lbs overweight, poor thing), is down 6 lbs for the month. Me, I have no idea. I refuse to go on the scale til I hit the 1 month mark. I think I lost @10 lbs early on and now

Wow, am already nearing the 1 month mark! @8 had grapes @8:45 more grapes and GOJI MANNA That goji manna is wicked, evil stuff. Gives great/immediate energy and gas (teehee). I won't be ordering it ever again, needless to say. It is waaay too much of a 'treat'. Earthangel-I am better with the tahina and tend to look at it as a Savior from cooked. I find that after the first week o

gosh, that stuff looks gorgeous--heavy, but gorgeous! Why limit yourself to ONE job or ONE thing? No need to ever feel you've sold out. Life is too short to NOT do everything you dream of. Seriously. M

When I was pregnant with my oldest son, years ago, I experience true Pica (cravings for non-food). I was living far from where I was raised, in Montreal, Canada. The landscape there is quite rocky and not sandy at all. I was born and grew up in the Great Lakes region--which is quite sandy. Needless to say, I actually started to crave SAND so badly that I would look at kiddie sand boxes and DR

hey earthangel! Got the taco meat recipe from goneraw.com, as well as the sour cream recipe. I cultured the sour cream with some acidophilus pills I had in the fridge. Made guac and all the rest without a recipe...bought the romaine lettuce as the shell, coz was too time crunched to make tortillas... They really only had 4 layers LOL...but when the hubby and oldest bit into them they

I usually have NO ENERGY at all when my period comes. Except for a day of discomfort, I've done MORE recently than I've EVER DONE on my monthly--and off of it, for that matter. Working and getting things done seems so much easier. My energy levels are amazing. I am just flabbergasted by it all. Normally, as the husband reminded me, I would have taken to bed for most of it. I've work

oh come on...people eat bugs all the time. In Mexico and in the Phillipinnes, locusts are eaten. It is also in the old testament and, unlike shellfish, were ok to eat according to (I think) Leviticus. My mother says locusts (grasshoppers) are sweet and sour. Crustaceans (like crabs and lobsters), which some humans love to eat, are like bugs with their extoskeletons. Asians eat all so

I had raw peanuts the other day and almost vomited. They tasted NOTHING like the peanuts I remember...unroasted, they tasted like some raw tuber (which I know they are).

now that the monthly has come, protein/fat craving are MUCH LESS. I slurped down some watermelon a bit ago. Tonight I made some cashew sour cream and am letting it ferment...am soaking walnuts for taco meat. Hopefully the kids and hubby will like it. It had great reviews on goneraw.com. At this point, I am just happy to find that I have the energy to do the work I did. I am awestruck

honestly, I am not all that keen on them straight. They are okay, but I do not crave them. I found that carob included in the mix improves the taste of smoothies and recipes for me...however, I can see how people would love em. I am more partial to vanilla bean concoctions. If I could find a way to make a raw creme not-brulee, I would be in heaven.

Had a fab broccoli salad and some tahina, not too much though. Water too... Been staining woodwork. I am starting to see the benefits, energywise, that come with raw. I did A TON for me. -went to a funeral and resisted mundo cooked comfort foods -came home and immediately spent 3 hours weeding on my knees, raking, mowing, watering -ran to the natural foods store, then made dinner

whew! thanks. There was hardly anything there. We had people up from Ft Wayne and Napanee and Warsaw for the funeral...most of the stuff was typical 3 bean salads and ambrosias. I was happy to find a layered iceberg salad. You are from here, you know how it is LOL. I spent 3 hrs weeding, mowing, raking the garden after the funeral. It was in the 70s and really nice out today. I didn

small bits of cheat on day 25 Had a banana before the funeral and a salad after. Ingested small shards of cheese, even though I tried to pick them out. We were starving to death, but it didn't even amount to much...however, scared to death of retoxing.

I reject the reptile theory as well. LOL I've MET many royals in Europe and can say quite honestly that I DID look to see if they gave off a reptoid aroma...after watching them get sloshed time and again, there is NO WAY these people are anything but 100 percent HUMANOID.

I had Lazik some years ago, which took me from near legal blindness to 20/20. In the last few years, I noticed the vision starting to 'slip' again. In the month since going raw, it has become crisp and clear once more. Actually, the vision improvement was one of the FIRST THINGS I noticed.
