I did go to yoga and it was intense. Hot today, and I struggled...intermittently reminding myself to relax and breathe into the struggle! Before class even began I had messy rattled emotions about something rather stupid...breathe breathe breathe, observe, breathe breathe breathe, accept, breathe breathe breathe. Home again, I had a couple very tasty juicy ripe plums and some cherries. So

Ate oranges and a banana first thing. Soon after, made a smoothie with banana, 1/2 apple, strawberries, liquid zinc splash, 2 sticks of celery, and a little hemp powder (sample I got with last book order from rawfoodworld). Massive elimation this morning in 2 performances. I had more fruit yesterday, with salad also and vegetable juice. I also think the yoga had something to do with the eli

Amen to all that and I second the motions! Beautiful! I do think I espy a beautiful butterfly breaking free from Many Cocoons. Those are all very super insights and breakthroughs, the kind that originate from a deep level. Sometimes there is still so much work to do to maintain and cultivate...and sometimes they are a 'clean' break and immediately very fulfilling...I am very happy for you....

Save the "ram" for rambling...I like that. Yes, regularity is what I should be doing. Set time. Little potatoes sound good to me right now! Just had an orange break. Working hard in friend's pots. Oh, my back. Pool? Jacuzi? Most likely! Am I HUNGRY.

Why do I so strongly resist meditation? It is what makes me feel better, most able to cope. Yet, too, sometimes it fills me with such a sweet nostalgia for a Heaven that I am deeply sad and uninterested in a different way in mundane goings- on, empty and unsatisfying. I must do some yoga today, by myself, in comfort and discipline of my own time and space. It is muggy enough, outside and ins

Did not eat salad or avo last night. Had some fruit. This morning, now having smoothie with banana, large peach, and romaine. I am stinky lately, bad perspiration odor. I have to keep washing, it's exasperating. It is probably due largely to coffee and cigarettes. Gardening a must today, I promised friend I would redo a lot of her pots. So, I plan to go over shortly and get it done.

Hi you two! Dropping in to say howdy...I haven't been too chatty lately, but am thinking about you and hope you are doing well and enjoying your day(s) and evening(s). Was I busy today. Went for a Necessity Shop...some fruit, salad ingredients. Did not buy any seitan. Olives! Just what I could carry home myself, did not want to fuss with waiting for cab. Okay. It's all good. I had a glass of vegetable juice: carrot, celery, cucumber, a little beet, a little watercress. I feel better. The time to fast seems to have expired, I so wanted to over a week ago. Perhaps I am a little antsy because of job/work situation. I'm hoping my friend will go to yoga tomorrow's 10:45 class. I will have fruit smoothie, as the green bananas are ripening (

I'm having a hard time fasting! Have had orange juice, and ate a peach. I'm so hungry and a little depressed. Not much food in the house... did find some peaches I had stuck in refrigerator because of fruit flies (& because I was always planning to you know what). I do have carrots, celery, cucumbers, beets. Maybe I'll transfer over to vegetable juice... I'm so hungry and evidently not

The interview went all right, I think. We talked for an hour. About working, why I would like this job, what type of person I am, what my interests are, what I like to do with time off, what books I read, what the most exciting thing in my life was, and I hope I 'passed'. I am going to do a 2nd interview, too. She has a friend interview as well. She is careful. I felt all "squirrel

Hi Soraya, I'm glad you can relate such things, personal and vital. I have to go, no time, but will check back tomorrow. Thank goodness for your dear friend who helps you. I think you are strong and self aware and can process all this, especially with the confidence and strength of your friend's friendship. I can definitely understand your concerns about looking too appealing to men, not

Yes, poor little one...that sounded painful, she is more stoic than I! I hope she is better soon. Yes, did yoga yesterday and today. Today was a different teacher, who is an instructor for Teacher's Training. He was so good. I learned a couple things. I did not have enough stamina and I sure have much MUCH to work on, and I don't mean the physical side of it (although that too, of cours

That pineaple-g-a juice sounds so utterly deicious, my mouth is watering. The next one sounds heavy duty serious, very interesting with the s. potato. You ARE having fun with it. Enjoy the process of your work out regime. And thanks again for your great support. That is for both of you, S and S. I did juice when I got 'back from town'---carrot, celery, beet, cucumber. Also had sala

Thanks for all the big hugs and all the big cheers!!!! I sure had a good day yesterday after all those detoxy ones. After I made my phone call, I went to town and revisited a lady who owns a Bead store, gave her my app, and something may come of this. I wanted to do this, as I have a strong feeling here, but for now I am letting go of all thoughts of work, for several days. You kn

Hi there...How are ya? I just did long post, over there, and now must go home and take shower and what not...dashed down to friend's house to post my news as my roommate's computer is not working. Hope you are still going strong with all your super momentum. Have you done the kettlebell work-out yet? What's your favorite juice combination today? Some that you mentioned sound so good.

Thanks soraya. It's about 5:00 now and I feel so awful. Worse. Hot and sweaty, coated tongue (and it is swollen), no appetite. I just eat or drink an orange or two once in awhile. I did make some banana milk this morning with a couple prunes and rehydrated figs. My stomach feels icky when I do put anything in it. The thought of veg juice makes me nauseous. Thought of bananas too. I think

Sundancer, I hope your little one is feeling better...and you, too! I hope you eat again , but a little fast wouldn't hurt. Glad you had a good time at the lake house! Soraya, your food and juices and exercise enthusiasm are great. I love to hear comments about clarity and insights when in a natural lifestyle of rawfoods. Good going! I want to get there too! Thank you very much, you two, for the good words and support! I have slept so much! I wondered if I'd sleep last night as I had slept so much, but I did. And I feel so "tired" and sleepy still! Body is really needing healing time! There is a deep feeling of relaxation. My temperature keeps fluctuating, I love it when I feel cool, but I am still going through periods of heat an

Exhausted all day after the hours of work this morning. Been in bed reading and napping. Made juice: carrot, beet, celery, cucumber. Just finished a bowl of strawberries and banana. Drinking lemon water. Had cup of herb tea with lemon and honey. Occasionally blowing nose, occasionally sneezing, coughing. Productive cough, and it is yellow, which is not good, but what else to expect

Yes, Sundancer, enjoy the time at the lakehouse. That sure has a nice ring to it. Thanks you two for the support and care. Was I sick yesterday, like death warmed over. So weak, sweaty, yucky, mucous deluged. Slept. Am reading a novel, just a simple book but its not too bad, and I read a few pages and konked out for anywhere from 1 hr. to 3 hours! I did go to People's yesterday, my

I feel so terrible. Very 'sick'. I think it is my first major healing crisis. It has been since the mid of May since I began the rawfoods again...only 2 months? I had a strong energy yesterday! Unusually good energy and good mood...I worked so hard, but effortlessly, processed more customers than ever before and I knew that I had the energy to continue past my shift! I wondered "wo

Soraya, I'm glad you got a juicer. Did you just now take a Baptiste class, or some time ago? I am enjoying reading his book, but the asanas look very difficult. My back is better, but arm hurts like hell...I think from the adjustment (the "adjustments" I was trying to do, on advice of a helpful stranger, irritated my arm; also, my work is irritating my arm...all the register work,

Hello hello----so you're going to get a juicer? I like this Breville...I'm not heavy into juicing, but when I do make it, it is very easy. And the larger opening is good, too, for ease of juicing. I was going to make juice yesterday, but I didn't. I have a bunch of carrots for that purpose. I looked very briefly at pictures of kettlebells...they are weights? I'll look again. I sure cou
