Hello, I met Lydia at a earth day festival in California. She was a very nice lady. Very calm yet focused and she let me volunteer in her food booth! which was a fun experience. I made raw pizzas and salads and so on! Everyone she had working for her had a very peaceful energy about them. Here's what she said in an interview about the temperature her food gets made in. Here's some more I just read over at the blindguru's website: Chia Seed: Was once valued so highly it was used as currency. Possesses a hydrophillic property as it forms a mucilage absorbing twelve times its weight in water, prolongs hydration in the body and slows the absorption of nutrients. Perhaps hydrophilic gelatinous colloids mediate virtually all element necessary for healt

Hey rosemary, here's the discription from Natures first law: Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and fiber. The small, generally grayish seeds can be mixed in water or juice to make a refreshing beverage, sprinkled on cereal, eaten as a snack, or can be ground and mixed with flour and baked. The nut-like flavor is very pleasing. Chia seeds are very simil

Greetings fellow health food seekers, here's a pretty quick and tasy recipies (at least I think so) That I wish to share with you. I use pine nut milk for it but you could probably use any of your favorite nuts. I soak the pine nuts for 30 minutes or much longer like 6 hours. Then take a couple handfuls of the pine nuts, put them in blender with water (about 2-3 times as much water as pine nuts).

I thought it was great. I've been a living foodist for four years now on and off but mostly on & I learned so much more then I thought possible from listening to everyone speak. Mike Adams really opened my eyes about what's going on in the world today especially concering our foods. Dr. Graham made me realize that Im eating way to much fat and since cutting oils out of my diet Ive had so much

Im not sure if there is a holistic way to go about this? but If there is I'd love to do some research into it. My 65 yo mother has decided she needs to get non-removable dental implants. Does anyone have any experience with this type of dentistry? We live in New York City so my guess is there are good dental doctors out there but who to go to? I googled dental implants and got lots of different s

Hey all, I've decided its time to get rid of these old light bulbs we've been using and try some energy efficient, eviromentally friendly ones. Originally I was planning on buying some CFLS from energy saver, but since they have mercury Im thinking maybe not. Im now going to try out the EcoLEDS that Mike Adams reccomends. Not sure how they are going to work inddors but I guess we'll have to g

Thanks for sharing all this great info everyone. I had a question about the sea vegetable Dulse which says it has 23% vitamin B12 per 1/3 cup serving. Might this be able to supply our B12 vitamin needs without having to take supplementation as well or would it be too difficult to eat enough of it. Thanks in advance JEN

This is one of the most tastiest chip recipies I have found. One or two bunches of Kale rinced and cut into small but not tiny pieces. It will shrink one in dehydrater, and you may like to cut the middle stem part out as it can be quite chewy. Mixed with olive oil, good quality sea salt, and apple cider vinegar. And dehrydrated at about 110 for a few hours or untill crisp.Enjoy!

Hello, while looking through the Sunfood Cuisine, by Frederic Patenaude I came across this on pomegrantes. To open a pomegrante, cut the crown off, and soak the whole fruit under water for about 15 to 30 minutes. Break the pomegranate open under water and the seeds will fall to the bottom as the pulp floats to the top. To juice the seeds, simply mix them in a blender, then strain the juice to rem
