i travel to india often for work. its tough. eat only in very highly rated places. do not eat from street vendors or small "local" places. Try to imagine how the food you are about to eat has been handled. The more food is handled in any country (including US) the more likely it is to be be infected especially if it isn't cooked. I eat only veggies and fruit that have skin or are not wa

I am somewhat new to raw foods. I have malasma, skin discoloration and brown spots from the sun. my dermo wants to give me all kinds of harsh bleaching creams or laser removal. is there anything anyone has used that may be safer and work!!

ok so i blended my greens for the last few days and ate a few bowls of pure greens. I ended up with tremendous stomach cramps and i thought it might cause a major "cleanse" but it didn't. Maybe thios is what you meant by too much fiber?

so im pretty new to raw. I love green veggie drinks. I enjoy them all green with no fruit. I juice them or blend them. Can you eat too many greens? can it become toxic? if i have 2 or 3 juices/smoothies a day its an enourmous anount of greens maybe it could be too much? i tend to eat the same greens, kale, chard, celery, cilantro, parsley. i know i should mix them up but its hard to find other va

thank you for those suggestions.i do agee that drinking the juice is easier, its just quicker and easier to make in the blender! Do you think you can eat too many greens in a day? do you think it ever becomes toxic or do certain greens become toxic? i tend to eat the same ones over and over because its what o know and its what my local store has.

i do agree that masticating jucers are the best. they are just more time consuming. i never thought about a pulp salad, thats a great idea! why do you think you can get more greens from juicing than blending? today i took 3 pieces of kale, 3 pieces of a different kale,3 chard, handful of cilantro, 2 stalks of celery, ginger and lemon and had that. Yes it takes longer to "drink" since it

thanks for your answer. so from what you are saying i think blending is the way to go. I drink about 10 oz whether i juice or blended but i guess if i want to increase you are saying that it will be hard wit blended juice because its so fiberous. I am not healing form any specific problem. i would like to boost my immune system any specific recipes of greens for that? i also tend to do all gre

i like the idea of a few days on all greens too and have the same questions you do. i would add, can we get enough protein? i prefer not to put in fruit, too much sugar for me. You mentioned you put in "a few bananas" how many can you eat a day? don't they constipate you?

I have been reading blender vs. juicer vs.food processor. I understand that each makes a different consistancy and that each appliance should be used for what it does best. I also understand the difference between masticating juicers and centrifugal and that the vita mix on high speed for long perioods of time can "heat" things and break down enzymes. I like greens. I make all green
