I never heard of raw spinach being bad. I frequently use it in raw juice remedy to aid colon function, and have had good results. I have heard, though, that cooked spinach is bad, as it converts vital oxalic acid to inorganic, which is said to be harmful to the body, Inorganic oxalic acid converts to crystals in the kidney. How did you come to the conclusion that the enzymes were inactive. If they are alive, that must show movement. Did you supply enzymes with some work to do for digestion?
