This has really improved my nutrition intake because you can make so many different kind of variations. I'm 95-99% raw and I eat raw, unprocessed coconut fat daily (about 2-3 Tbls per day). What I have learned about pure raw coconutfat is that the liver uses it and boosts the bodys energy level. So body does not collect the raw coconut as a fat in you body. There are some more information in www.tropicaltraditions.com about this. I think its most important that the cocnut fat you are using is r

Hi MauiGreg I'm now on my 5 year as a raw foodist(about 95-99%). The mood swings are normal and what I have found that the positive moods are coming out more if you stick with your diet. Be prepared though to lose a lot of weight. I lost about 30lb in the end of the first year and I wasn't even overweight. The weight, moods and energy levels get after the detoxification better and your bo

This same thing happend to me. I work out every night in my gym and I had strong pains in my shoulders especially when working out my shoulder muscles. This may be caused by inorganic crystals that have a tendency to stuck in your joins and when your diet gets more pure. MARBLEFOX My breakfast has the last 4 years been only fruits and green shake. I have tried a couple times a morning raw cereals but always get back to the F & GS. They are somehow easier to digest. I do not have any negative to say about the raw cereals but I think soy milk is not the best. Go to mercola.com and check for soy. The I have found that the best for raw cereals is fresh

marc Tropicana juice IMO is same lifeless junk as many other pasturized juice which have a long shelf life. Get some fresh oranges or grape fruits and have your juice fresh (organic if possible). If you use about 2-3 oranges for a glass the price per day is not so bad. just my 5 cents MH

siracusa, I have a vita-mix 5000 and I'm very pleased. One of the best investments i have done. The noice is louder than with a normal mixer but it's not as loud as k-tel. You better find a remote room like a garage to make your green shakes. Here is comparison of V-M vs. K-Tel Cheers MH

About fo ti I know that it is very nutritious and it beefs up your vitality and long gevity. As in all herbs and vitamins, moderation is the best. There is a good coffee substitute which i have found to give me a calm energy - unlike the jitters with coffee. Yerba Mate. The taste is comfortable and the best way to enjoy it is with a bombilla. Get organic YM if you can find it. Cheers MH

Prem Yari, Not feeling as home was also the reason I left my country. Anyway, take a look of books by Mantak Chia. It gives you a great start in your journey. IMO Mantak's books are good start to look for more information but in the end he is a businessman. Cheers, MH ----------------------- "I feel Smashing" by Wallace and Gromit :-)

dextera, amazon.com com has suprisingly good maca but if you're looking a bulk maca I would suggest eatraw.com. They have maca in 5 lb backs. I use Yamame chlorella. You can buy it in 1kg containers which last about 2-3 months. Haven't seen that in Whole Foods though. cheers, MJH

A very common problem, I have found best way to prepare my own lunch is to put some bananas, strawberries, spirulina, chrolella, raw cacao, maca, coconut butter and greens in the vita-mix and pour the "lunch" in a large bottle. Grab some fruits and nuts in my way out and I'm not hungry until around 7:00pm. I have this routine every weekday when first I prepare lunch (partly raw)

marhar I have been working out every day several years now and the best protein food imo beside the greens and veggies is spirulina and I'm 99% raw for 4 years now. It's protein is very digesteable and you need it around 20grams per day. Soy is not very recommend. You can find many articles about soy and the hype it has created. check www.mercola.com I feel smashing! MJH

Hmmm, I did some years ago a cleaning which lasted some weeks. I noticed that in some point I released a long tube (up to 2 feet) which was not pshyllium powder. It was kind rubbery and some how more solid. I think that the m.p is real alright but it depends of what kind of life style one has had and how many years. If you have had a diet several years that keeps you mostly more or less

Dancer, One of the best protein on the earth is Spirulina. It's not too expesive, very simple to mix in you green smoothies in the morning and it's easily digestible. I take about 10-15 grams a day plus 10 grams chlorella and I work out every single day. There is a great info to download (pdf) at www.newstarget.com about these superfoods. ----------------------------- "I feel
