As spring blossoms in earnest, the smell of the fresh grass, fruits, and flower season is around the corner, fresh fruits, farmers markets, life is beautiful, and there is no need for vitamins, fresh life is all around us.

Wheatgrass and sunflower sprouts they are the core of my diet, I grow them indoor. Very easy and fun. You do not need vitamins when you have these fresh in your house.

powerlifer Thanks for the info. I will have some of my SAD family members with health issues try these raw vitamins. For myself, I am fine with my greens and sprouts but may add some blue green algae as recommended by Brian Clement

powelifer You are making a godd point, there are people or situations where vitamins may be needed. But it seems like the people on the forum using them are long time raw foodists, are we saying the dependency on vitamins never get resolved, the problem never solved? We never return to the natural state, natural health equilibrium

I still do not understand the vitamin thing, with spring and summer coming there are so many foods waiting to be eaten. There is no vitamin out there that can surpass the nutrients and water they bring to your body. Do not waste your money.

I take periodic break from skin brushing because the resistance explanation makes sense and I have noticed the effect of the brushing to be more potent in the first days after a break. The skin is very sentitive to the brushing and it makes sense that it build resistance from repeated use.

The issue of resistance is explained by Robert Craig in his book colon handbook Quote Homeostasis Homeostasis is the tendency of the body to maintain an equilibrium condition wherein all bodily functions are stabilized at normal levels. . . . An initial period of three months is usually sufficient to thoroughly cleanse the colon. Do not, however, extend the initial period beyond five month

I read somewhere that you have to stop skin brushing periodically otherwise the skin will build some reistence and you will not get the desired benefits after continuous brushing.

There is a simple explanation to all this dilemma. Pure veganism does not work at the current state of our evolution. Most cannot sythethise b12 own their own. Only few vegans are able to and those have no need for supplements, the rest cannot thrive on raw diet alone, they need extra help. And the Norman Walker of the world understoodd that half a century ago and they added goat milk to their di

Most on this forum have been raw for many years but it seems like the preexisting conditions are incurable, it seems like for a handful rawness works but for most vitamins and supplements are needed. So how are we to encourage SAD eaters to join us in this journey if it does not really work. Norman Walker one of the early raw food pionner lived on raw juices and greens until he was 99 year old w

So the rawness is not working for most. It cannot cure the problems we had. Maybe SAD is not too bad. When you are really raw healthy, you are resilient, stress cannot bothered you.

If I were to choose between a raw tomato and some potent raw vitamins I will pick the tomato. It seems like in the raw industry, the commercial minded guys know how to come with with some catch words to get money out of people. There is no such thing as raw vitamins unless it refrigerated. I am eating organic this, organic that, we were told on this forum, I guess it is not working, you need v

Children do not need vitamins, they have a clean body that is efficient at processing food especially when the parents know about raw food. We are old running cars we may need help, children are shinny new cars.
