arugula, Looking back at my post, I think I wasn't as clear as I could have been. I apologize to you and anyone else that I might have mislead. For my crime, I have received an official Notice of Violation from the The Ministry of Clear Communication and Civil Debate, division of Unintended Misrepresentstion of Vegan Ideas. Here is the first part of the text below: To Swimmer. Yo

Hi Ashlee, Pancreatic insufficiency is a condition I'm all too familiar with Try Enzymatic brand. They make a vegan enzyme called Digest Gold. It has the highest amount, and largest variety of quality vegan enzymes, but, it's expensive, and you need to take several for complex raw meals, but it really is the best on the market that I have found. BTW The non vegan enzymes that doctors p

There are many, many reasons for burping. Low HCL is only one. Eating too fast, swallowing too much air, improper food combining are just a few of the more common causes. So, it brings up the questions: How do you know you have low Hydrochloric acid? There is a test for it, but odds are, it would be a more common cause.

Here is the DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES report on irradiating seeds. Notice how this report is dated October 2000, and the report on lettuce is dated August 2008, yet some parts are copied word for word.

This is probably the scariest subject I researched in a long time. I plan on posting more about this later, but here are a couple of interesting links. From FDA's own site: There are lots of these docs. I'm searching for the FDA test data, the bush admin likes to hide those reports on embassy web sites, making them hard to find.

I use a large glass bowel too. You can find glass bowls with plastic lids easier. Green and fruit salads look brighter and more colorful in glass. I know it's just my imagination, but it seems the brighter colors make the salad taste better.

Bummer! Was the flesh of the peach any good? I noticed that in a couple of peaches too. The peaches had a weird texture and did not taste "peachy". I chopped them up and tossed them in my compost pile. I don't think you should worry though. It's just sad to have to throw away food.

It's a little frustrating. I still have not found any scientific studies to prove the theory you've posted. The first link is useless as science, as I mentioned. Also, I give no credit to someone who makes unfounded blanket statements blaming people for their misfortunes. "There are two reasons for disease, or lack of health 1) Ignorance 2) Laziness" Such statements show an

Several people got involved, I think it went on for a few months. Hmmm what was that called? Does anyone remember? It was an island story...coco, you were around then, do you recall? Hey Ver, what

This is interesting. This is a completely different definition of organic minerals from the what I thought. Do a google search for organic minerals, and you'll see what I mean. Thanks Lillian, Interesting article, but like every article on that site, I find it disappointing. It's opinion written as fact. There are no footnotes or references at all. That is a real low reading, and low bp will cause dizziness. Hmmm...salt causes high BP, so maybe add some high sodium veggies like sea weeds. Perhaps you could add a sea veggie salad to your diet. You could also try adding a little sea salt, though around here that might be considered suicidal. Another idea is you could read the first couple of pages of the Shazzie thread. That should ge
