My daughter made me some romaine rollups. Everyone in my family is being really supportive and wonderful about my way of eating.

Thank you guys la_veronique, I got raw kalamata (sp?) ones yesterday at Arnold's Way. The black ones? They're like little mouth orgasms.... pakd4fun, if you ever get the chance to get to PA, try to visit Arnold. His place is very homey and welcoming and you just feel kind of blessed the whole time you're there.

Ooo I love your plate, rawdanceruk! And what's on it, too I took my daughter to Arnold's Way in Pa today for lunch - it's an all raw restaurant and store. Mine was way more complicated than I ususally eat but it was very good. My daughter got the zucchini pasta, which was super thin, like angel hair. It was buried under some excellent marinara sauce. She's not raw, but said it was one of the

It means 'in my opinion'. And IMHO means 'in my humble opinion', although I've noticed that often the person using IMHO isn't really so humble

Excellent idea I do recommend trying Arnold's Way if you ever get out to Lansdale. I've just been there so many times that I want to try something else. I've been to a few really great places in NY and I'm frustrated that there's nothing in and around Philly. There was a place called Kind Cafe that was pretty fantastic (Northern Liberties area) but I heard they're not there anymore.

Thank you I take a large handful of sun-dried tomatoes (I dry them myself) and soak them in water for a few hours, and then put them in a blender with a little of the water they soaked in to get things moving. I add a couple (never more than 2) soaked medjool dates and some sea salt, and some fresh herbs. It's sooo sooo sooo good. It just tastes like summer in your mouth. You could throw a sl

It sounds like orangeflame wants to drink alcohol. Not nurse an unsipped drink, or drink juice, or soda, or water. Booze, baby! It's ok if you're not ready to make the full time 24/7 commitment...you'll do it when you're ready. My suggestion is the same as those above who said that organic red wine is the kindest thing. Good luck with your raw journey and be safe.

I love it rolled up in romaine leaves with some chopped tomato and basil. It's also heavenly if you smear some soft avocado on it. ( the rolled up corn has been taken off the cob, obviously.... )

I've eaten mono and I've eaten raw recipe-type food. I can't really say which I prefer...both suit me at the time and that's why I eat them. I like to think that eventually I'll be eating mono all the time, but I'm not going to stress over it. It does make me feel great, I have to admit.

Tonight I made zucchini spaghetti and marinara - the old standby. I topped the sauce with some really spicy olives I found at Arnold's Way, an all raw store/cafe near me, and some fresh basil I pinched from a plant a friend gave me. It was soooooo good. Wish you could have been there.

Not a physical change, but a mental one: now that I'm doing raw again (8 days now) the first thing I noticed, after only 3 or 4 days, was that my attitude was sunnier, and my thoughts happier. It seems trite to say, but I feel SO much less toxic mentally. Like, when I'm cooked, everything pisses me off, or I see the bad in things, or think the worst about people or situations. When I'm raw, I can

It was so beautiful out today that we ate outside. I love having the warm sun shine on my food. My sweetie isn't raw but he loves to make me raw goodies. This is his mango/corn salsa with romaine to make roll-ups, and some molested kale salad on the side. I felt like the luckiest person in the world eating this out in the sun.

Any good raw places to try in the Philadelphia/Bucks/Montgomery County areas? I've been to Arnold's Way and it's ok but sorely lacking in atmosphere. You basically eat right in the middle of a store. Anyone tried Oasis Living Cuisine in Malvern? Or know of any other places that are not technically raw but have some raw things on the menu? Many thanks, keep on rawking.

I just started raw again 3 days ago but I was raw for 8 months a couple of years ago and the major things I noticed were no ear wax no mucous never sick clear eyes happy disposition no tooth problems firmer boobage...firmer everything, actually no bloat or puffiness anywhere felt energized morning noon and night great hair no dry scaly feet or

I was raw once before for about 8 months and didn't wash my hair in all that time. It looked the best it's ever looked. I rinsed it every other day with a conditioner that I made myself. I'm trying to remember what the heck I made it with so I can make it again....

I especially love the picture post and the favorite physical change post physical changes, especially the glows of health and the bright eyes, are mind-blowing. How could anyone not be inspired?
