The Hachiya Persimmons ( like the ones i have in the picture above ) have to be eaten when they appear to be spoiled. You have to wait till they are very very soft to touch. So much that when i poke the skin with your finger it doesnt "give " back. The inside will be like jello. The fuyu ones, you can eat hard like an apple. Both can be eaten with the skin! They are actually still un ripe. I will have to wait a a few days. I usually massage ones that i want to eat the next day, it helps them ripen. Little trick.

I get excited this time of year, I've been Organic Persimmon hunting and scored big time! I'll have 1 a day for a few months now I have a "figs" sign because in the late summer those bowls are filled with hundreds of them! my fav. But for now, persimmons will do just fine

Hello, So i decided to find out my body fat at the gym today. 142 lbs 5 11' 27 years old male. Found out i have 5.3 body fat. They told me that is super low. I dont have any knowledge on this subject...thoughts?

Hello, I usually way about 150 when on a healthy cooked diet. Now that I am raw i've drop to about 138 lbs. I would like to gain some weight my working out. hey friends, i was out with a friend of mine, ( she is on the SAD diet )...i was telling her how much fruit i ate and he was surprised to hear that i dont get mouth cankers in my mouth, She said when she eats a lot of fruit, she gets them....does that make sense? i eat pounds and pounds a day of various fruits and rarely ever have cankers.

thanks so much! i had a feeling banana's were key. I have been eating about 5-6 a day, and feeling totally great. I kinda like keeping things simple... 6 bananas, 4 mangos, 5 oranges, 4 apples...bunch spinach, bunch red lettuce. instead of combining 100 different foods to make up for the calories. hmmmm, love learning this stuff...been quite the journey to finding balance. For me i need about 3000 calories to not lose weight, i work out for an hour every morn, and a high energy guy. I tried 80 10 10, just today...oh my gosh do you have to eat a lot of food. It's crazy~ dont know how to make this possible without being glued to your home and fridge. any thoughts?

hello, it's been a long few weeks of terrible gas, i mean terrible fowl. So, looks like i am going to try mono eating to some degree.
