Thank you Nic. Still struggling. This is a rough time of year for me. My son's birthday is May 31st. He would have been 23. He took his life June 10th, 2009. We found his body in the woods June 17th and had his memorial June 25th. Still using food for comfort, and a few cigarettes, and a few meds. I still am incorporating alot of fruits and veggies, so all is not lost. One thing I do know, is m

Organ donation, I think it's great that it is a choice that each person gets to make. We are not forced or bullied into organ donation in our country (USA). I have read horror stories like KidRaw has. There are also great stories of people having a second chance at life because of an organ donation. I think the Golden Rule would also cover respectfully allowing people to make such a personal, pri

Yes, Dear Robin rest in peace. His voice was a gift from God. A living masterpiece. His voice, his singing, could literally bring me to feel the music, the emotions, the words. A true artist. I love all of the Bee Gee brothers, and of course baby bro Andy, they will forever be apart of the fabric of my earthly life. But, Robins voice was special and spectacular. I have watched him sing and liter

Oh Donna Summer. She was so beautiful and sultry. I was in 6th grade when "Love to love you, baby" came out. My mother forbade us to listen to it. Of course we did on transistor radios at school. Good memories.

I believe I have chronic fatigue syndrome. Hubby has been researching my symptoms and has me convinced. No doc diagnosis. The last time I told gyno of my symptoms, she said "nothing weight watchers won't cure." Thanks a lot. No one can truly know what a food addiction is like unless they have it. To look at food as love, comfort, security and fun. Then to realize it's making you sick,

Deborah, I was just rereading your diary from the beginning and I saw that you are a stained glass artist. One of my hearts desire is to learn staining glass.I don't want to take up too much of your diary space, but I would like to talk about this some more with you. Much blessing to you.

Hi Deb, how did your chiro visit go? I hope you are doing well. No, I don't have any place to garden. Do you? I put olive oil, lemon, garlic, cayenne pepper flakes, and some sea salt on the okra and refrigerated overnight. I agree, the baby boomers are feeling the effects of the SAD diet. Wishing you the very best in your health quest.

Thank you Rawartist for your kind words. Today is first day off from night shift. Got tired on my first night. I work 3 in a row and then 3 off. I drank some coffee and then had some candy for energy, I had fruit with me, but I didn't want it. I ate a lot of junk, too much to list. Now I want to change the title of my diary. Yeah finally getting it allright. I was able to put some time together

Went to the gym and had a nice, easy workout. Weighed myself, 216 lbs. Boy was I close in my gueussimation. In my list of supplements I posted yesterday I forgot to add dermal magnesium. Someone had mentioned it in the other forum and I could relate to the symptoms, so I bought some. My body has been suffering from the effects of stress. I lost my only child, my dear son, from suicide in June 2

Hi Raw artist, I read that your from Georgia. I'm in Augusta, Ga. Good to have someone near that is interested in raw food. I saw you said you are busy and I hope you are doing well. It's interesting to see that there are more people interested in healthy eating than there used to be. When I first started studying about raw foods and health about 15 years ago it was not mainstream at all, at

I joined a 24 hr gym today. Waiting for hubby to get home from work to go work out. We will go about 2 am, proly will have place to ourselves. Started taking some supplements this week. Colloidal minerals, EFA mix, and b-12. Just to be on the safe side. Haven't been high raw this week. Not giving up on my health quest, though. I love, love, love rawgosia website. She is so smart and kind. I like

I'm 48 years old and female. I'm going through menopause I think. Overweight, but not sure how much. I stopped weighing myself a long time ago. Probably around 215 lbs. Optimum weight is probably around 140. I have been enscased in a cocoon of fat for a long time. I think I could move around better if I didn't have it, but it has served well as protection. Perhaps I will share more about that a

Hello everyone, I've been coming to this website and reading the bulletin board off and on 10+ years now and even joined the conversations back in 2000-2001. I never continued to post because I didn't have much success. I was a foodie of the first order. Even though I knew in my heart that raw and living vegan foods is a truth, I just couldn't make it. I felt too deprived. I could put a few days
