Yes, there is a reason your body reacts swiftly and violently to eject the ingested super salt solution: it is a poison. If you go without any salt for even one month, you will then understand the truth. Love, Julie

How about a glass of fresh grape juice? YOu can sip it slowly and get a natural high! It will make you giggle. Wine is just rotten (fermented) grape juice. It is grape juice that's "gone bad." Love, Julie

My current belief/understanding/experience (take it or leave it): All illness is a form of food poisoning. If you are eating anything besides fruit, you are poisoning your body and your mind. I say these things with the deepest kindness, compassion, and caring. Just thought I'd put this out there. . .maybe it will resonate with someone. Love, Julie

I would say that Nature's most perfect blender and juicer is your mouth. Plus, it's free, it's simple, it's quiet, and it's always with you wherever you go. There's nothing to clean or use electricity or take up space in a landfill someday. Just a thought. . . Love, Julie

Hi, CC! This is Julie from Kveta's FruitRevolution. Hey, I loved your note, sistah, and I totally get it. Same experience for me, becoming dark and reclusive after eating junk. It is so NOT worth it! You know what to do, you've done it before. Here's what I'm having today: sweet orange juice early, then I'm going to make some fresh grape juice that looks a beautiful purple color

Hi there, Bryan! I love what you wrote about becoming as limber as a newborn baby. I share that belief/desire/wish/goal. And it is really happening! I have never felt so light and limber as now and I know it will only get even better. It's a magical miracle! : ) Love, Julie

Dear Confuzed, It seems that some may be getting impatient with you but that's OK. You are only asking the questions that all people ask sooner or later. Even the so-called leaders in the raw movement do not agree on what is the "correct" food for humans. And there is even more confusion among mainstream nutritional "experts." I have been reading, learning, unlearn

Tonight I am having 2 pounds of the sweetest, grapiest dark purple grapes I've ever had. They are amazing and I can hardly wait. They are already washed and in a beautiful bowl waiting for me. : ) Thought this might give you an idea for something simple and quick. Fruit is the ultimate fast food. Love, Julie

I think you are asking a very intelligent question, John. For what it is worth, my current belief and understanding is that fruit is the food for humans (along with sunlight and fresh air), and green leaves (in small amounts, like medicine) are for healing. One important component of the fruit is the distilled water it contains for hydration of the body. Occasionally, I will be attracted t

Hi, Rainbow! These are all good posts. I agree with the balancing aspect. If you like the Chinese perspective on health, another way to look at all this is using the Yin/Yang model. Raw fruit and greens are very Yin. To balance this "coolness," one needs to have warmth, like from sunshine and vigorous exercise, which are Yang. If one is inactive and stays indoors in front

This is a very thoughtful and intelligent thread, I think. Thank you for posting, Sapphire. You are an excellent/beautiful writer. Bless your heart. Somehow, friend, I do not believe that your hard-livin' relatives are really fine, though. I imagine they are all having physical/mental/emotional/spiritual effects of harmful living. No one is immune from that and it'll surely catch up

Hey, I'm really glad to know you are still around, too. I've wondered about you. . . Oh,yeah. I know about those lectures from the well-meaning doctor. So I quit going to doctors also. Ha, ha. Well, the late-night eating doesn't seem to be much of an issue anymore. I just eat when I want, whatever I need (as long as it's fruit), and it just doesn't seem to be a problem. I guess I fe

Hi, Fruitgirl! Remember me? Well, bless your heart. It's OK. I'm over 50, and I had one mammogram about 15 years ago and none since! So I know just what you mean, girlfriend! Ha, ha. I have no thoughts or worries about any of it anymore. I keep quiet about this because people tend to jump all over it as we are all programmed to do. I think you will be just fine and all yo

Thank you again, Astral Mage, for your wonderful work. I am continuing to enjoy it all very much. I just read the article by Ahmen Heaven (you gotta love that name) and it is very inspiring and helpful. Love it! I wonder if someday I will not need the internet/computer, but for now I find that it is very helpful to me, especially for giving me a sense of community and as an "antidote

Hi, Tashi. . . Here is another take on losing your hair: I have heard others talk about this happening and their experience and explanation was that it is nothing to worry about. Some people say it is the old falling away and making way for the new. In other words, your hair may fall out but fresh new better thicker shinier hair will grown in! This sort of thing happened with my skin in

5 pounds of tangerines is not a lot of food for an entire meal. It's mostly water, anyway. Yesteray I ate a 16 pound watermelon, though not all at once, of course. And I am a small person. To be able to live on predominately juicy fruits takes a clean body, and many people don't have the patience and understanding to get themselves to that point. For most of us, the period of adjustment

Well, not to rain on anyone's parade, but even though you guys are some rockin' raw fooders and all that, I can hear your addictive minds talking. You are coming up with reasons to support ingesting a substance that is more a drug than a food. And I will admit that they are very clever reasons! For myself, I now want to do what is optimal and most loving/nuturing for my precious body and m

Great thread, Pistachio! I agree totally. It seems that we are always trying to harmonize with our environment, just as you described. If someone sits in front of the TV, they will desire junk, but if you are outside in the sunshine and fresh air you will desire fruit or maybe some other fresh food. Yes, environment is very important, including the energies of other people. Envirnoment h

I agree that smelling your food before you eat it is always a good idea. My cats ALWAYS smell their food first. Bananas are very sensitive/always changing and it seems that there is a very short period of time that they are "just right." It's the Goldilocks Principle! Love, Julie
