So it's not the white sugar itself that causes problems, it's that it is released so much of it into the bloodstream all at once?

QuoteAmbushed by my own parents! Is that true? If you didn't think you had to eat them, would there be a problem? What about; "Ambushed by my own thinking". Could that be just as true or even truer? Quote-Eat what you want & want what you eat! Yeah. If it's within your integrity, eat it! Who cares about sickness, if what I want is to eat it, so I will. I'm free. QuoteI

I'm not sure what sole is. You have to figure out your own sodium need. It depends on how much you exercise, how hot the weather is, who you are and what constitutional type you have. These are my own conclusions. But, according to the link provided after fotnot #8, scientists recommend a daily intake of sodium between 1100mg-3300mg for adults. People who were on the 1500mg level had much lowe

-Like David said, figure out for yourself what you do best on. Don't listen to experts and their facts because you are an unique individual with your own genes. See facts as suggestions. -Try to figure out when you are eating to support yourself and do what you think is best for you and when you eat to damp some emotions or when you eat out of fear of sickness. Ask yourself: why do I want this

This is my opinion; -Eat your calories. Eating enough calories makes it impossible to get protein deficiency (if you don't exclusively eat fruits and oils). You can get plenty of COMPLETE protein from nuts, seeds and sprouts.(1) -replace cooked rice, pasta and more with sprouted wheat, barley, rye, oats and more. Sink and sprouting mentioned above takes a total of 48 hours.(2) -Most acce

Ok, so the pink color is supposed to be there and is not a sign of rancidness which probably caused the burning in my mouth.

Hi, I sprouted some amaranth and after just two days in the fridge they got this pink tone and burn in my mouth. This is the same thing that happens to my wheat sprouts, only it takes usually a week. /Robin

This is really a problem for me too. I spend 65$ each week on my diet which consists of vegetables, fruits and nuts and I almost exclusively eat non-organic food. If I had everything organic it would cost the double amount (130$). Tough for a collegestudent!

Try calculating the procentage without including the water content. E.g. oranges have 84% water in them so they actually have a 5,6% protein content.

That sounds very Byron Katie-ish, Piano Gal. I love that way of thinking. In my experience,I can't know ultmiately what food would be best for me or someone else so I just follow the voice inside. It's a journey.

QuoteHow much carbs do you need? Are you an athlete or very active and have a carb quote you need to stay above, or is this for day to day living. I had to laugh when I read the bit about fruit causing premature aging! Some how I don't think so, although I'd love to read any references about it. Carrots and beets sounds nice. Approximately 160-200 grams a day. Yes, I'm very active.

Hello, I'm almost 100% raw with the exception that I eat rice to get enough energy. I think that one way to replace the rice could be fruits, especially bananas which have about 20g carbohydrates per 100g (10g slow carbohydrates and 10g sugar). But I'm worried that a high fruit diet will cause nasty side-effects like premature aging, since sugar is bad for you. Can someone please tell me if it
