Snort - it tied with the Atkins Diet. How ironic is that?

Read the two reviews that gave the book 3 stars and it may explain why there are so many 5-star reviews. Don't know if what they wrote is true or not. But if true, interesting marketing tool.

I got through most of the video, but from what I saw, he doesn't say he's 100%. He said he used to be 100%.
From what I saw, he is pretty honest about what he eats. He admits he is 2%. He is primarily raw, no doubt about it. But he did not say he is 100% raw now.
He pretty much claims what he is.

Gah, in Hawaii? Where you can grow a huge varietiy of fruits and vegetables?
It is a dream of mine. Hubs says I would be bored (ummm...NO) and it is humid all the time (who cares? Better than tornadoes and schizophrenic weather). I would go in a minute.
Also looked at Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Anything with a beach. Le Sigh.

At the risk of sounding like the devil's advocate, I think stress also contributes to premature aging. It sounds like her job is very stressful. I do not know what your job entails, but perhaps your job is not as stressful as hers?
I go to Buddhist class every Sunday, and marvel at the calmness of the nuns. But I venture to guess that they do not have to deal with the everyday stressors of

Isn't that the truth, Arugula? The older I get, the less I know. I feel it too.

I got an e-mail from David Wolfe where he is having a sale on longevity coffee? Has anyone heard of this?

Or could the word "spiritual" be substituted? I do not feel I am religious but I feel I am spiritual.

I really wished I lived in a climate where one could pick their fruits right off the trees.
When I was in Jamaica, the locals would tell us of the mangos and other fruits that were so plentiful that most would drop on the ground and rot. Such a waste.

Nobody is bullying people into following a raw vegan diet, but people who speak out on diets other than raw vegan are being bullied.
I really think the forum is open-minded enough to hear different points of view - my thoughts only. Why not listen to all points of view and let people decide?
I LIKE the differing viewpoints. Why can't they be discussed without reverting to name-calling?

Well, if you take it literally, it means to support others - not necessarily be one himself.
The agreement reads nothing about the participant's being raw. Only that we support others that eat a raw diet.

Sorry, Anon101, I did not see that you asked a question. I see it now.
Here's part of the policy that I read:
"The spirit of the Living & Raw Foods Community discussion forums is to support others that eat a diet composed primarily of raw plant foods(including honey) but no animal products (such as meat, dairy, etc)."
I really see nothing in the user agreement that reads th

Hey Fresh: I'm only speculating, but from what I read Powerlifter did try the raw food diet and it didn't work for him.
I understand that we are here to support people - I totally get that - but there are some people (novices and experts) that have failed to stay 100% raw. For whatever reason. I think we should have information from all sides, not only from the raw side.
Because I do thin

Why do that? I don't understand. No reason to resort to name-calling and bullying.

I think that asking for studies - from both sides - seems fair. Thank you, Fresh.
I really like hearing the success stories of people on this board and some people are so inspiring. The scientific studies are bonus for me.

Fresh, these are really good questions in a movement where most of the "gurus" have admitted to not adhering to 100% raw.
And really, what is wrong with that? There may be a few 100% raw people on here, but I'm sure as hell not one of them.
What I do want are different points of view from people who have bettered their health through eating raw foods - and Powerlifter has sta

I don't understand the name-calling?
Powerlifter made a statement that raw has not been scientifically proven - is that not correct?
Why can't he, you, and that other person (okay, I meant all of you) state your opinion, state it politely, and have polite discourse? It can be done.
I like reading all sides of the diet dilemma - after all, it is one of the primary reasons that this fo
