When I turned raw I bought a bunch of books, not realizing the fact that there are many opinions out there about what a good living foods diet is. Also, some "raw" books have cooked receipies?? Go figure.

I have owned this machine for about 3 years and use it daily. I have the screw very tight as I do not want any pulp in my juice. The motor has never indicated any strain or over heating etc. It is my best juicer so far.

I never do. I most situations, I put the pulp in my menure pile. I sometimes use some of my carrot pulp into my carrot ginger lime soup to give it more body.
I juice so that I can pack a lot of nutrients into my body AND not having my digestive system having to go in overdrive. So, I do not care for any fiber when I juice. So you need to determine why you juice. If I do care about fiber,

I have rarely found a more diverse group of people then rawfooders. Meaning, everybody has their own opinion. Personally, I went straight into raw (living food) at a 100% basis. Never had any of the problems that I had read about.
So, go at it and see and feel what your body is telling you.
