Checking where I obtained my HP3A-Blendtec I am told that BPA-free jars for the "Total Blender" and the more-recent "HP3A" I have (with the 25 automated cycles) will come with the blenders as early as next month April-May. I checked out both the HP3A and the VitaMix blenders, but personally prefer the HP3A. While I understand the person who wants to control every single step in their kitchen, I draw the line at anything unnecessary.
