I went down to the local health food store and got a product called Lily of the Desert. It has Aloe, peppermint leaf, Chamomile Leaf, Slippery Elm and fennel seed. It is quite thick and tastes somewhat horrid BUT My throat has felt WONDERFUL most of the day. The lady there said it cured her ulcer within a 3 months of taking it. So with that I will continue with my fermented foods, alkaliz

Thank you all for the info. I have been trying to manage this with diet for weeks with no real changes. I am going to take what I was given by the doctor for the 30 days and see what happens there. I realize this is counter productive but what else can I do at this point. So down about the whole thing

I think I have been eating the wrong raw things!!! I have done some research and it would appear that MANY vegetables are covered in cellulose. Humans cannot break this down without help of cellulase OR a very healthy digestive tract. Given that I just started RAW only weeks ago I am certainly not there. So I will stick to those veggies which are low in cellulose and perhaps look for a digest

I have read so many posts about how energetic people feel eating a mostly or all raw diet and I have to say I don't feel that way. It's been a week now and I am not 100% raw but a definite 80+ and I feel a little sluggish. I'm never hungry as I make sure I eat a bunch and with a good variety of fruit and veg, a little nuts but not much. Is there a period of time the body needs to adjust?

HI All, I've been 80% raw for the past week. I have been experiencing, late in the day, what feels like a lump when I swallow. This only appeared since I started eating mostly raw. Any thoughts? Could it be all the fiber from the fruit and veg I'm eating? I read it could be a reaction to reflux... I'm at a loss and it really feels weird LOL
