YMS_1975, I'm sorry one person made you feel as though you are not welcome. I have been a member on this board since 2012 I think. I just read. I don't interact. You were fine doing what you were doing. Keep going if you want and I will keep reading. I'll be your canyon. LOL

I do a 100% raw food fast every month of June. I am about half way through or I would help you out. I bet people on here could give you meal ideas if that is what you are looking for. Raw gourmet recipes help me through the month of June. The rest of the year I am raw on weekdays. Weekends are a mixture. I find it socially very difficult to stay 100% raw at all times, mainly the weekends.

Dear Tai, I've been lurking around this board for three years. I read almost everyday but to not participate. There are a handful of active participants who's posts I read from beginning to end. Many of them I skim and others I skip all together. I'm sorry you feel like you don't belong here and I will be very disappointed if you stop contributing. I relate very closely to the things yo

If I don't add lemon juice to mine I can't stand the taste. So add a half a lemon to about 16oz of juice and you will be much happier, I promise.

I agree banana! I visit here every single day. I learn so much. I'm only about 65% raw but it doesn't matter. I can relate to and appreciate this website 100%.

Thank you sproutarian, I didn't realize you should spout lentils for 4-5 days. I learned something new from you. You are full of information. I made myself a raw chili recipe online this week and it tastes good but not great. I think the "green" taste of the lentils in their sprouted form would be better in a salad than in some mock chili recipe. But I'm glad I tried sprouting for

I am sprouting some now to test on the ole tummy. I was hoping to make a raw chili with them. Going raw for an entire month is challenging for me. You would think the fact that it makes you feel 100% better would make it easier, but it doesn't. Mind over matter I suppose. Thanks again everyone for the input.

Thank you all for your input. I will have to give some sprouted lentils a test run this weekend perhaps.

I am a vegan. I am planning meals for my annual month long raw food fast. The information online is confusing when it comes to eating raw lentils. Can you please let me know your personal experiences with them? I want to try them but am hesitant. I couldn't find any previous conversations using the search function on this website. Thanks, Vanessa

1. Yes 2. I disagree. If you put your KimChi right into the fridge it will not go bad and will still ferment slowly. Fresh KimChi taste amazing. 1 tbsp of salt per cup of warm water sounds horrible. Yuck. 3. Your KimChi won't explode in the fridge. Problem solved.

In the last 1/4 of this interview the doctor describes his protocol for healing cartilage in the joints. My mother and I are doing it right now. It's not raw or vegan by the way.

I'm new here and I will introduce myself, but in the meantime I have a quick question. When items like corn and peas are not in season, I like to purchase the Whole Foods organic frozen brand. Does anyone happen to know if those are cooked prior to being froze? Thanks.
