I avoid them completly and if I do have them, which is very rare I have very very little. But even when I did eat them on a regular basis, I would not eat more than half of one per day. Yes, I had them later in the day...

Coconutcream, I understand where you are coming from. I don't find to many raw foodies that are still into makeup, fashion, clothes, taking trips, fancy hangouts, etc. etc. I still enjoy those things, while in my observation most raw foodists are complete opposite (sort of hippi like). You've got these two worlds, one is a life of luxury (as defined) and the other is a very simple minial lif

My experience is this...for 6 months I ate very low fat (maybe half and avocado per week) lots of fruits and greens, more greens probably. I drank a lot of water like 2-3 liters per day!!! I was going to the bathroom like 2 per day, 3 if lucky. But I also felt bloated most of the time because I got so much water from the fruit and greens. I didn't like that, obviously it was way too much water...

I'm curious about the book, too. I went raw with those percentages, actually lower fat and a little more protein intake without even knowing anything about its benefits or knowing anything about raw food! Then months later I read about raw food and just recently about 80/10/10 and it all made sense because I have already experienced it. If anyone has more info about the book, please post!!!

12. Cramps
I've had this problem for a long time on cooked and still on raw. I get this cramp usually in my right leg. I'm not even sure how to explain it or if it's a cramp but it's painful. It's not so bad, I can walk around do every day stuff and I can ignore it. Stretching helps for the time being, but as soon as I stop stretching the pain comes back. Usually it'll last like all day or half a day and th

Sapphire, I'm wondering the same thing. I'm sure you've all heard that it's not good for the heart. Other than that I haven't done much research. Prism, Ok so 71lbs. in 6 months, that's almost 12lbs. per month which is roughly 3 pounds per week. That's possible and congrats!!! But 7lbs. per week highly unlikely and very unhealthy since you'd have to not eat at all and do a lot of exercis

I know! Maybe she/he meant 25 lbs. from a year ago? Otherwise it would be 25lbs in 25 days which is impossible. You'd have to burn 3500 calories/day so you couldn't eat anything and you'd have to do a lot of exercise on top of that for 25 days...I don't think so..!

Yes fruit and vegetables are complex carbs. It's all measured by the glycemic index some fruit have a higher GI others are lower. 70+ is high 50-60 is medium and below 50 is low. But even fruits and veggies differ...for examples and orange has a GI of 50.

24. Honey
I know it's NOT Vegan...sorry! I'm having some thoughts about it..I eat very small amounts of honey and allthough I doesn't seem to affect me in a negative way, I'm thinking about cutting in out of my diet. Do you eat honey? If so, why if not why not? Do you know any pros cons? I'd appreciate any input, thanks!

Thanks Bryan! I do enjoy overt fats but in moderation. Last summer I would eat one serving of a type of overt fat once a week and felt really good! So I'm trying to get back to that. With the fasting, I've done a 14 day juice fast. 5 cups at the most per day...I've tried to do a water fast and get low blood sugar and really weak...! Then again I wasn't resting like I was suppose to like you sa
