Hey Maribill,
Have you seen the website of Angela Stokes, www.rawreform.com? She used to be obese too until she started to eat raw. I found her site very inspirational, maybe you too! Great pictures and I am sure you will find some good advice and resources there.
good luck!

Hi!
In Amsterdam I know of two places selling raw tahini: Delicious Foods on Westerstraat near Noordermarkt (where you can find the raw food stand of Raw Superfoods), and at Unlimited Health (www.unlimitedhealth.nl)
They also sell other raw nut/seed butters.

hi,
I don't have a dehydrator yet but do dehydrate: in my oven! Until now I have basically been making crackers, and that works fine. I don't know if they would be better or tastier or crunchier in a real dehydrator, though.

I also made hummus but found it has a bitter taste in the end. Although experimenting with adding dates for example to make the taste 'softer' helped.

Hi Armijo,
I have a little manual juicer, so I first have to cut the carrot in little pieces (or grate it in the food processor) and then put it through the juicer. I guess it depends on the juicer you have. Carrots are quite hard so I don't know if there are other juicers that juice them imediately without chopping them first.
Good luck!
