What don't you care for about spelt flour trinity? I have found that the kernels make a nice mild flour, but nowadays I use mainly raw buckwheat groats. That's funny.

Thanks for the link. Good site imo. It looks like it is going to be a very informative site when it is all up and running. I have been looking into that latley, but I don't know.... I suppose I could go to a organic butcher and have them grind it all up for me. Do you feed your cat(S) raw? If so how is it going? thanks & have a good one

To both of you guys~ thanks for the link and the info! So.... I am guessing the saturated fat in cacao butter does not clog arteries,in moderation, since it is not of animal orgin or hydrogenated ? I am still a bit perplexed about that. The candy I made turned out wonderful and firm. ..... the butter I just got from natures first law,it just smells like heaven!

I have been experimenting with raw cacao butter recently. It certainly is tasty, but I have a question that I have not been able to find answers to about it. Does any long term and knowlegable raw foodist know... and... this is presuming the cacao butter consumation is in moderation not mass amounts! 1. Is this a healthy type of fat (medium chain ect) and.... are there any negatives at

rawrocks, do you mean buck wheat grouts? I have just soaked them. I haven't tried to sprout them, but I don't see why they couldn't be made into a flour. I made a batch using half nut milk flour and half sprouted spelt flour the second time I made them. Any sprouted, soaked flour you can dream up would be worth trying I think ,but I am not an expert

Yes Cindy, the browned look is due to the sundried tomatoes AND the dehydrating I believe. People I served it to thought it tasted pretty good. I halved the recipe when I prepared it.

Here they are, and believe me, they taste as great as they look. I used agave. and no I didn't empty a package of premade cookies on my dehydrator. This was a labor of love I did for my friends and family, along with other goodies, for Christmas giving. Luckly I had the forsight to make plenty of chocolate chips to make more, cuz the batter is easy. It's a great book btw with lot's of g

A delicious recipe, I thought. I have made it Sprouting is easy. I just use a big bowl, soak overnight, rinse, and cover with a paper towel. Then rinse two times a day for a few days.

no pak, it wasn't rubbery at all. The eggplant had a rather marinated yet al dente' texture prob due to the soaking and dehydrating, and I sliced it pretty thin. A little goes a long way with this. I found it to be very rich, but it was a tasty treat.

I love my Omega 8005. I have had it for a few months now, and haven't had one problem with it. It is quiet, easy to clean and pop together, and makes great juice with greens and hard veggies and even wheatgrass. Also makes yummy other stuff like shredded coconut, raw almond butter ect. I was using a juice fountain prior to getting it, and I gave it to a relative who is discoverng juicing no

I love green smoothies too. My favorite at the moment is: a large bunch of organic spinach ( or kale or collards), a few peeled key limes and a peeled and chunked ripe mango blended in my K TEC. Add some filtered water if you want to. I loved Victoria's book also; her children have a nice book out too that I like to use as well.

I just found it. It does call for quite alot of maple syrup, which is not raw. I don't see why one couldn't substitute agave for it thou.... anyway here is the synthesized version: prep time: the rest of your earthly life.... ha ha First there is some prep work to be done: you need to make "sprouted flour" the book does not tell how to do this however I would think that one coul
