Hello Just looking for some recommendations on where others buy their raw food items on-line? Things like olives, cocao nibs, nuts, etc. I live in a rural area and find it diffucult to find any of these items even in the health food stores. Looking for good prices and good quality. I've tried raw guru and am happy with them but just wondered of other alternatives. Thanks in advance. Miche

Thanks Marcos - Yes - I did buy the excalibur (and really liking it so far), hence my hesitation on spending so much on a food processor. But......i'm looking at it as an investment in my health. I also bought a german slicer, dicer hand gadget that is great for quick smaller jobs.

Hello- I am transitioning to raw foods (about 1 month now). I have invested in a dehydrator and already had a vita mix with both the wet blade & the dry blade. I just ordered a fairly expensive 12 cup food processor but am wondering if I should just go with something less expensive. What do most people use more or less? The vita mix can be annoying for dryer mixing. Do i really need

Thanks Marcos - I've done more research and yes, these seem to be the best. Now the question is 9 or 12 cup, wide mouth or regular? Leaning toward the 12 cup large - more expensive but I think a good investment. Thanks again Mcihe

Yes - bad food combing definitely, but I've done that many times in the past but did not vomit. I've always thought I ate "healthy" but since transitioning to raw I realize my food combinations (as well as how much i eat) have been horrific. Thanks for your response. Miche

Hello- I'm looking for some food processor recommendations - what do you use and like, tips on buying etc. I have a vita-mix and have always done most of my cutting/chopping by hand but now that I'm transitioning I'm really feeling the need for a food processor, the vita mix cannot do everything (as it claims), not that I'm not happy with it, it just has it's limitations. Thanks in advance.

Hello This is probably a longshot but just wondering if anyone has tried to reactivate their thyroid after thyroid cancer? I take synthroid as a suppressive therapy to stop what's left of my thyroid from producing. Reason is that it is believed that the tumors are caused by the production of hormone produced by the thyroid. Therefore, taking a high dose of synthetic hormone tricks the body int

Hello - I'm new to the forum and just began transitioning to raw foods about 1 month ago. I'm fluctuate between 85-100% raw each day. Yesterday with my dinner salad I ate a couple of my son's quorn nuggets (fake chicken nuggets) & some lightly steam brocolli w/nutritional yeast then I had a dessert of raw granola & almond milk I made earlier. About 1 hour later I threw the entire
