OK...hubby got coconut open. It was accomplished by using a saw-zaw! Needless to say...I do NOT like the "milk".
I guess I will scrape the meat out of the 2 halves. Wish me luck!

It is 7:35am and I had my usual breakfast: Steele Raw Oatmeal with Raw sugar and 1 cup of coffee...I know I know.
I am enjoying a fruit smoothie b-4 showering and heading off for my morning walk. This helps my bs from crashing.
I tried to make a green smoothie last night...let's just say...YUCK! I am NOT a "greenie" person. I also attempted to break into my coconut...to no avail.

Well, I had dinner and I had the following: broccoli crowns, tomato, chick pea patty, (Morning Star) and a piece of homemade bread with Raw Honey. I actually have found that my energy level is improved. I am not so knocked out tired at the end of my day.
Tomorrow will start another day...Kewl :p

48. Dehydrated Foods
The person at the health food store in my area says all his dehydrated foods are done with low heat. Would these be alright to add to my diet? Is the only way to get "healthy" dehydrated foods is to do it myself? Are these machines expensive? Where would I even get one? 20 questions anyone??? LOL!
Thanks in advance!

I buy my Steele Raw Oatmeal at our Natural Health Food Store. It is sold in bulk. I forget the price...I imagine it varies depending on where you live. I am having it every morning. In fact, I have backed off the heating a bit and it luke warm and still very good!

58. 80-10-10
I was planning on going 100% RAW...however, I think 80-10-10 is more realistic. I do not want to drop fresh fish from my diet. I love Catfish and wild caught fish. I also enjoy bread that is baked in a bread machine. The majority of my diet is RAW...salads, veggies, fruits, dinner side dishes and so on. It is just these two items.
Anyone else maintaining this 80-10-10?
thanks!

I have started eating Steele Raw Oatmeal. You have to soak however much you want in the morning. They swell, but not very much. I heat them and monitor the temp. with a thermomater...until it reaches 114. It is just warm NOT HOT AT ALL! It is very good )
