IMO, with 80/10/10 as well as with any other raw dietary paradigm: take what works for you, and leave the rest.

IMO, the only redeeming quality of "raw" (i.e. fermented) cacao is that it is "less bad" than cooked, processed chocolate.

Another thought swimmer: If you don't like the way someone is promoting the raw food diet, you could always get out there yourself and promote the raw food diet in the way that YOU think is best. I would support you 100% – the more people out there promoting raw veganism, the better.

Hi swimmer, How do you know his hair is dyed and his chest is waxed? What he's doing is simply marketing the raw food diet. Otherwise the public will just yawn. Many people have had FANTASTIC improvements in all aspects of their lives from eating a raw food diet, and I strongly support anyone who brings the raw food diet to the attention of the public in any way. These are the peopl

Considering the cooked food civilization in which we live, if someone looks good or great on a raw food diet, I think that that is something that we should PROMOTE.

I think something that all true prophets have understood is that the masses are generally not ready for the highest Law; that the masses must be given "baby steps" to move them higher. This is why Moses offered the transitional kosher diet, why the Essene Jesus offered the raw vegetarian diet, and why Arnold Ehret offered his own transitional diet. To be honest, I grew up within Jud

I was at a Whole Foods a month or two ago when to my surprise, I noticed that the guacamole on the salad bar was made from processed "avocado pulp" and not fresh avocados. I was also on a cruise many years ago and thought I was eating fresh guacamole but later found out that the "avocado" was coming out of a tube. Because there is now processed avocado "out there,&quo

One will age on ANY diet. As Matt Monarch has wisely put it, a raw food (or 80/10/10) diet is simply the least obstructive diet one can eat. However, one will still age on this (or any) diet, both from the diet and from the daily load of external toxins to which we are constantly exposed. greenpower, can you please post your picture, your age and the details of your diet so we can see how

In The Essene Gospel of Peace, the interpretation is: "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." Personally, I prefer the word "food" over "meat" as today the latter connotes flesh.

WHAT SYMPTOMS TO EXPECT WHEN YOU IMPROVE YOUR DIET One of the greatest misunderstandings and confusions in the field of nutrition is the failure to properly understand and interpret the symptoms which follow the beginning of a better nutritional program. What is meant by a bet

Hi coco, My idea was a forum that was not a discussion purely of spirituality/religion, but of how those things relate to one's raw food lifestyle. There is a spirituality forum at giveittomeraw.com, however there is a RAW MEAT forum there, which makes me uncomfortable. Otherwise I would just go there.
