Some products can be dried at a high air temp but the food itself never reaches that temp. You may want to enquire about it.

I guess I did them in this order over the past few years: High Fructose Corn Syrup Fast food Red Meat inc pork Other refined sugars Poultry (pesectarian) Fish (vegetarian) Diary Eggs (and thus I was vegan) Caffeine Refined Grains Still slowly working on completely eliminating all other cooked food. I didn't chose a specific order really, they just seemed to come to me naturally.

Hi Lejla, Without reading that huge artical that Pakd4fun posted. I have read quite a lot on this issue previously and there are many ideas. One of the the biggest for me is that bacteria that once flourished in the soil has now been largely destroyed by man made chemicals. Produced tends to get washed, taking away any bacteria that was on it. Then there is the issue that perhaps i

I would conjecture that your perception is in fact most acute. However subtle humour is at times lost when conversing via the means of text.

The word Fruitarian has always sounded tasty to me I have always prefered fruit to vegetables. One of the things I find interesting about modern society is the amount of products that either contain fruit or fruit flavors. People are drawn to fruit and don't even realize it. Look at the amount of fruit flavored drinks and candy. Yet so many people shy away from the real thing.

Agreed, just because something didn't work for you or you don't feel it is right doesn't it won't work for someone else or feel right for them. Afterall each of us here can only speak from our own personal experience and I think that is the way topics like this are best approched. Give your personal account and perhaps make a suggestion. Stating that fruiarianism is bad doesn't stack up c

I don't tend to eat raw grains really, I don't really like sprouted buckwheat etc. I eat very few seeds and nuts however I do get my essential cold pressed oils, fruits, vegetables, greens. It's all about experimentation though to find what is best for you. A stomach soother? Like if you have an upset stomach? In those cases I eat very little or nothing until I feel better again, I would proba

Welcome Aswayn, Raw generally means that you don't eat foods that have been heated above 118°F, however some people believe that temp is lower stating that enzymes begin to be destroyed at 102°F. Anyway to answer the question raw food not hot, sometimes it is warm from the dehydrator if you have purchased such a machine. Most of the food eaten on a raw vegan diet is are fruits, vegetables

I wanted to go back and find this post because I realized something interesting the other day. I met one of my friends (who I have known since we were kids) after work last week for a drink. While we were talking, he stopped and said "Are you wearing contacts?" I said "No" as I don't wear glasses or contacts, he said my eyes looked like they were a different color, much

So, here are my goals: 1. I am going to exercise a minimum of 3 times per week. Try to do my Tai Chi or Qi Gong each morning or at least every other morning. 2. Eat at a minimum of 75% raw each day. Thats it. Sounds simple enough lol. I have set my goals lower and more reasonable than in the past so I hope this will help keep me make me less likely to go "wrong".

I have been using maca for about 5 days now. I haven't really noticed anything bad. I had some before I went to gym and didn't seem to get as fatigued as usual. The first time I took it I slept for about 10 hours but I had also only been getting about 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night the whole week so I don't know if the maca actually had anything to do that. As far as mixing it with other st

Enchantress: I am trying to lose a little weight, that's just one part of it though I think the overall goal is just greater health benefits, energy etc. In the last year and half I have lost about 57lbs. Switching from vegetarian to vegan and then eating more raw. I just have bit more to go I believe that on a raw food diet you will tend to eat less calories. The simple fact is that you n
