Re: To be considered a raw foodist, what percent should you be? I believe percent is not so important as long as uou put one foot after the other toward the goal - but always there is this idea that there must be a progress. Otherwise, being 50% for 20 years, could someone pretend to be rawfoodist? Some labels are rather exclusive. A little bit of black and the hue is no longer white...

Hurray for you!!!! I found ACV is normalysing the body we're in, so to say. As for myself, it has been improving my appetite, so I'm happy about it... Better digestion is a blessing. Would you know of any free e-net book about ACV ? - I dont-feel like spending right now but would appreciate to know how vinegar can dissolve toxins, uric acid crystals, etc... Sounds like mystery to me... just

thanks for answering and sharing your thoughts and experiences - I am so happy for those wonderful things ACV is doing for you. I intend to try again ACV starting tomorrow, with a different way to take it - I'll do immediately before my two biggest meals instead of anytime during the day. I'see if that helps. good luck with the raw wagon. let me know how it goes for you blessings Cynth

Prism, I got to know upon your thread here about ACV when you mentioned it on the main forum (For David Mason and fellow raw fooders). Too bad I didn't saw it before, but well...! I just want to say to you that I'm so happy your pains are all vanishing away. ACV is a miracle! I can witness. I have the same thing you talk about ( gout) Do you have problems with teeth sensitivity? I'd like s

David, thank you for your insight. You hit a crucial point when you say : "Part of the whole process is being VERY aware of your own internal deposits / detox level.....and eating in a way that's going to promote a gradual and non-acute detox elimination process. It's really not WHAT you eat......but rather what you are NOT eating....that promotes the breakup on the internal clog......and

So, Dave, you eat only fruits? I ate only sweet fruits for a couple of weeks and I started getting trouble with my teeth - lots of sensitivity. Is it detox, or perharps my body is not yet ready to take it? As aquadecoco says, maybe chlorophyll is needed for a while. I'd like to have your advice about it. I also tried ACV. At first, it was great. Then the teeth sensitivity came in and I had to sto

aquadecoco, I had the same problem and I found it was mostly caused by the compost bowl on my sink. Fruit flies usually laid eggs on rotten stuff. I removed the bowl and the issue was resolved!

thanks for sharing aquadecoco : Yes life is perverse. I thought everyone would lose weight, too bad thin person had to get so skinny!!! It's tough to suffer those savory cravings. My biggest fear though is to look skinny sick, all bones and nothing else on the frame!! Funky Rob, your advice are very welcome - thank you. I will go slowly with the transition. It's a good idea. However, I not

Hi everyone, I have been fasting for a few days(8 days, so little more than a week). Now trying to break the fast, I realize that every thing I put in my mouth is giving me a strange acidic after-taste. Not nice at all. So far, I tried a few tablespoons of fresh orange juice than, two hours later, a tiny piece of watermelon. Same reaction Any advices? Thanks for your precious help!!!!

I'm happy too to find others having the same challenge... To eat when not hungry is not working for me besides the fact that I'd rather wait to have a pleasant experience with food ( ha, ha). And eating to much at a time slows digestion quite a bit. Someone said here that to gain weight, one should eat big meals instead of grazing all day. So... what to do then ? I found that, for myself, I

292. cravings
In the past ( my past life as vegetarian), I have observed that I would crave sweets after meals when I would not have had enough of densier, ''proteinic'' food ( beans, cheese, etc.). Lately, doing the 811 trial, I realized that I do the same now. I want to,and I do, indulge in raisins, fresh dates and the likes after diner. Basically, I want to avoid too much fat - and stay below 10% - so i try

Personnaly, I dont'go to any gym. I think we can really do a lot by our own, without the stress to perform with the 'machines'. I prefer walking, hiking, so that I get fresh air too! and yoga when at home, or rebouncing on a mini rebouncer. Nevertheless, the most important is to feel confortable and happy while exercising, whatever we do. So that's it doesn't become a WORK in itself (ha, ha !!!)

Gosia, did you try to write everything down on a calendar(just an exemple)? It did work for me, for the first trial and also before. That way, you can see how often you're off, or how well you follow your goals, at a glance you can see many things... love, Cynthia

Hi, Gosia, Loretta and Peisinoe, I want to try too it will be fun to witness more changes as I didn't really in the short trial, well maybe there were some but the detox ( digestion) was bothering me too much so to appreciate the good side of it... I will post also exercises : what kind, how many minutes... as much as I can. My first day will be Tuesday April 17 - looking forward to sh

Sorry, evveryone. maybe I was a little too harsh in my precedent post about purety and cleanliness - I mean, how can I talk about something I have been trying only a month whereas others have years long experience? If real benefits do manifest after one year, or more, than I should come back in 12 montths and speak about the results then, not before. love, Cynthia

that thread was great !! thanks everyone for sharing. I did learn so many things. Actually, the most important one is that exercising every day may change the physical response to raw food. I'm willing to continue too Love and blessings to you all, Cynthia
