Wicked cool! I'm so happy you posted. My dh works in nyc on 16th street and I told him about the take away. He said he will check it out and grab something for the train. So healthy for him! I'm excited! Looks good!

When I met dh he smoked, drank and ran a little wild. However, he is very grounded in many many other ways. His confidence and raw power amazed me. His ethics are pure and untainted. He would never ever go out of his way to hurt someone or say something cruel. He always has been very responsible with work, his duties to our children and to me. I was a vegitarian when I met him, and he was a m

I'm so happy! Last friday, I received my sprouter kit. Tonight, I had my first broccoli sprout salad! It kind of tasted like cabbage a little bit, but still it was really good! I added some tomatoes and pine nuts. Thank you David Mason for giving me the sproutpeople.com link! I have my french mix seeds soaking now! It will be ready for Tuesday and a sprout salad will be my lunch w

That is great that you're changing so fast! Amazing actually. This weekend, I bought the kids organtic blue corn chips. I use to buy them every few weeks for a treat, and I had a few. It didn't taste as good and I noticed that I really could taste the salt! I didn't enjoy them as I once did. Aren't these little things amazing? I notice the sleep difference as well! I sleep better too!!!

Good Morning everyone! It's been a little over a week and I'm still transitioning, but I've noticed four things that truly amaze me! The first two I expected: steadier flow of energy through the day, and feeling better over all. The second two are wild. Did you feel this too? As of friday time seems to have slowed down for me. It passes so much more slowly.I no longer feel so rushe

Hello. This is my second week transitioning to raw, but I¡¦m no stranger to healthier foods. Budgets can be tight sometimes. While I feel organic produce is best, buy what you can afford. I still feel produce grown with pesticides is far healthier than processed foods laced with sugars, preservatives, and chemicals. Just wash it as thoroughly as you can (which you know). I find that

What a wonderful idea! I would have loved to be a part of this if I were still working in an office. I love salad! You cannot get any better than fresh! It's pretty nice the owner left you some money too. I had to laugh when he left you a list of what he didn't like; that was pretty cute. lol Have a good day.

I'm still very ignorant to raw eating. Do any of you eat beans or rice? I read on one vegan web site that you can soak brown rice overnight and eat it wihtout cooking. I tried it and it was still hard. What about beans? Where does one buy organtic raw dried beans? I'd appreciate anything advice on these. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the welcome! I really appreciate it. So far, I'm really tired more so than usual. I've had seveal throbbing headaches which apsrin took care of, but they were NOT and I stress NOT migraines! Last night I did have a cooked dinner and felt better today. However, this morning I went right back to raw. Evidently my body is not happy right now with this change and

Hello! I'm Maureen. I'm 36 years old, married with two children. I also have a golden named Aidan. I really don't know where to start, and have been winging it for two days. Tomorrow I'll be able to go to the library and really learn what I need to eat on a raw diet. So far I've been winging it on tomatoes, spincach, zuch, goji berries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, salads, bananas,an
