Interesting. I know prunes are very nutrient-dense, but they are also inflammatory. I suppose if it's the only thing I eat like that, it's no biggie.

love it....kind of addictive from all the sugar though. The chewiness is so great, nothing else like it.

Depends on their age... at 6 months most babies will do well with most fruits and veggies--but usually the veggies are cooked (I've heard some doctors wait until a year for strawberries to avoid allergies, don't know if that is traidition or true), just intro them slowly. Sprouts I would wait on, seem hard to digest. When the baby can go past puree, things like grapes still need to be cut up--you

The support is for the raw vegan diet... I have people telling me how great animal products are everyday. We can offer alternatives for cravings, but it's nice to have a place where we don't have to defend our choice to be vegan.

They don't need recipes. Just get a baby food grinder (or I suppose, your blender/food processor) and mash things up.

I visited Humboldt County a few years ago, on the way to the redwoods--VERY cool place--HUGE coop in Arcata, with a big transitional raw section (lots of non-organic, non-natural brands, too, never figured that out), plus a local currency. Glad to hear of someone enjoying the community there!

Yes, for many doctors, they don't think patients will be willing to make the changes. Not that many even offer that option.
Fuhrman doesn't tend to bother with people who don't want to do what it takes to get well. He isn't trying to convince anyone--if they want to keep their addictions and be sick, it's not his problem. But that being said, he is having a new book come out, that will introdu

Shoot, I'm at work and can't watch it again. Basically the ADA (Diabetic not Dietetic) people heard of him (word spreads when you are curing people!) and a lady from there asked him to write an article about how nutrition can affect diabetes. Later, the lady calls him back and says they have to withdraw their offer because their sponsor might not like it (I can't remember if it was said or just i

So, do you have a pet cow you do this with? This situation is so rare that I'd rather get to it before debating the ethics of it.
No, it's nothing like a lion eating a wildebeast. Lions don't drink wildebeasts' milk, and no species drinks another species' milk.

This is a real medical doctor, who brings up some good points. I will not be trying the silver:
And he is not backed by Eli Lily The American Diabetic Association actually withdrew an invitation for him to write or speak or something, due to industry pressure--vegsource has a video where he talks about it. Because he shows how you can cure type 2 with diet.

I would try and make cheese out of raw human milk first, at least it's designed for our species (and you know the animal gave its consent).

Two meals a day--lots of people do that. If you eat lots of water-rich food, you might not be very thirsty. It feels good to let everything digest and truly get hungry before eating again.

Sugar in fruit has the same number of calories per gram as protein (4-ish, slightly less) and far less than fat--plus it's packed with all that water, fiber, and other nutrients when it's in the fruit.

Actually, no one has ever said anything to my face about my body hair. A friend told me that an acquaintence remarked (with a disgusted tone) that I had body hair--my friends just said "so, what" and it made him look silly (he is known to be rather misogynistic anyway). The other surprising thing is that women will often comment that my leg hair is nice and that they would grow it out i

I got tired of it--the time, the money, the scars from cutting myself! I couldn't justify it anymore, it just seemed silly. I can see not wanting to seem like a freak (most women I know shave just to fit in, or becasue they are uncomfortble with their bodies), but besides that, I don't see any real reasons. Aesthetics and feel are culturally-induced preferences that will change as you get used to

Many people don't have their first meal until late in the day--noon or two pm. If you woke up earlier and shifting eating to earlier, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to get into that routine--probably you ultimately go the same number of hours without eating. Mini-fasts like that are very healthy if you are ready for them.

Grind in powerful blender for food processor for a LONG time, until the oils start to release. When you get tired of this, add oil/water so it sticks. It won't be as creamy as commercial.

Just not eating refined sugar or other garbage quickly diminished my awful cramps. I also have shorter, lighter periods now, but I'm on NuvaRing which artificially forces it to stop when I insert a new ring.

I have only eaten the goo of aloe, and have always found it to be quite bitter. Maybe because it wasn't organic? It's just been from various Hispanic markets.
