hi everyone...everytime i get myself to the point of all raw, i become irritated at living seemingly in conflict with the health i want...breathing the car fumes, just feeling the lack of nature around me, not able to get fresh produce easily, especially organic. i keep dreaming of a beautiful home in nature, but of course not so easy to change my whole life to obtain. and the sight/smell of m

let me ask you, how's the greenstar with cucumber, zuchinni? are these too soft for it? and does carrot take forever? how about making juice in quantity, like 3 quarts/day, does it take too long? it does with the kempo, and also carrots are so slow, i don't even bother....this was why i was thinking a supplemental juicer... thanks juicin' john...

i had terrible anxiety and panic attacks years ago, very severe, i was afraid to go anywhere should it happen in public. i'm really sorry your family/friends are suffering. my own thoughts on where this comes from? i guess it can be different for different people but somehow i believe there's a truth in this....there are no emotional disorders of themselves, there's always a physical component in

so just 20 minutes for a quart of carrot juice including cleanup...very similar to the champion, thanks that helps too. i want to be consistant in juicing again, i haven't done that in years now. and i love juicing, i feel very different and better when i do, even my complexion changes...seems i just can't get back into that routine yet...i'm working on it!!

yes, that's what i find with the kempo too, it's too small to use for a lot of juice, a quart works good, more than that and it takes too long. i probably should have just got a greenstar....so expensive here...but i've found i really like the dual gear juicers, which is why i got the kempo. the vert turned out to be useless for me! thanks for your input..you've had a lot of juicers. i liked t

hi everyone....well, now i'm back to getting a second juicer. i sold my omega vert in frustration a couple months ago, bought a green power kempo. so this is great for me for all the leafy based juices, but i'm into the same problem i had before which is, time...if i want to juice in quantity it will take way too long with this. i'm thinking of a second juicer again to supplement the kempo. i

hi everyone....this is my first time growing anything as i lived in a basement for 15 years! so i'm in a sunny apartment now and started some plants like cayenne pepper, parsley, tomatoes, nettle, sorrel, red peppers, dandelion. little green bugs came from i don't know where. i didn't know growing indoors there's still a problem with bugs. how do i get rid of them? i tried diluted soap spray,

doing the liver flush was one of the best things i ever did, if that helps anyone in looking into this. i was very sick years ago, one of my problems was gallstones and liver stones (stones occur in the bile ducts of the liver as well as the gall bladder). i released many stones which i know were stones as my health issues improved, i had no more stabbing pain after eating, no blocked feeling in

hello everyone....anyone use systemic enzymes regularily? i've been wanting to do this for a long time. i've used them on and off over the years, but never consistanly. does anyone do this and how much do you take to have an effect? i've used various brands, some i like better than others, but i'd rather take powder form, i'm still searching on an affordable way to do this, if that exists? but i'

thanks for all the input. i'll try rotating the produce a bit more and maybe smaller pieces, that will help. i do love how fast it is though and just gobbles the stuff down. keeping my other juicers would have been a good idea though, in addition to this one...i was too quick to sell everything! live and learn...

hello everyone...well now having used my juicer more...i do see some negatives with it...i suppose there's not the perfect juicer out there that has everything in every way, so i don't want to be too hard on it...but i'm wondering about using multiple juicers again... so these are some of the negetives...i find it not very good with handling celery, it's too stringy and gets caught in the pulp

i'm interested in finding out more about this as well, was it from markus rothkranz's site? i think i've heard him say he'd met people who were 120? i can't remember exactly, but i'm very interested to know more about how they live.

thanks rawlion....it's getting better with each try. i need to add more cacao, i'm surprised how much i use too! but that is why it didn't have the right texture. i've been adding some grated cacao butter to seed, don't know if i'm getting it right...but it is getting better than the first time anyhow. it's fun being able to have chocolate and it's not junk food!

ah, maybe that's part of where i go wrong...i have the melting part alright, it's very lightly till it just melts...but i add the cacao powder and agave all at once. this last time i added fine ground pecans...it turned out quite good! next one i'll try adding the rest slowly. thanks!

hi prana....it makes me feel better to know others feel that city energy too. when i'm eating cooked foods i don't even notice it. when raw, i find it very difficult living here, this was part of where i fell off of raw years ago...

thanks rawlion! the chocolate you make sounds so good! okay, i must try doing this too. i'm sure it will take me some practice to get it right. the last small batch i made (and now i'm learning to make small ones first so i get proportions and texture right)...the last one was the best so far, but still could be better. it's the texture mainly, and i can't say what's wrong with it, maybe not t

hi...i've been experimenting with it, but not gettng the proportions right yet! thanks for posting how you did it. so far i've tried the cacoa butter, powdered cacao and molasses (didn't have agave on hand). it was okay, but missing something, very rich yes, not quite the right texture but i couldn't figure out why. it's potent this stuff. i'm not used to cacao, i felt high for an hour. i may

"Just so you know, Adrian, a very minute percentage of raw fooders are 100% raw all the time(if they're telling the truth). Probably about 0.5%. The vast majority are 100% raw only for a period of time, then they fall back to some cooked food or non raw things, then they pick themselves up and go back to raw and so on and so on. It's practically impossible to be 100% raw all the time."
