The Samson GB-9001 or 6 in 1, as it is sometimes called, would make the best all-purpose juicer. I'd only recommend the Green Label (80 rpm) for wheatgrass juice and I wouldn't recommend the Red Label (177 rpm) for anything at all. Sundance Industries, the manufacturer of the Wheateena juicers, just haven't kept up with their competition. Happy Juicing......WY

I tried some Odwalla Carrot Juice once and it was terrible (compared to the real thing). Odwalla juices are Flash Pasteurized, so it's not something you'd want to become habit forming. Experienced fasters, who are fairly 'clean', can go quite a while on pure water. If you don't have a juicer, I'd recommend blending carrots and water, and then straining it.......WY

Don't believe what you've heard about the 'sugar spike' from carrot juice. Test it on your own body. The sugar from fruit is far more detrimental, especially over a long period of time. Some say we're naturally Fruit Eaters, but I feel we should eat a more alkaline diet. I enjoy having wheatgrass juice first thing in the morning followed an hour or so later with at least 32 ounces of carrot juice

I get the best seed at It's a family owned organic farm in Idaho. Their seed grows a nice, wide blade of grass. I am very satisfied. I buy 25 pounds at a time and the shipping (to Florida) always costs me much more than the wheat itself, but, even so, it is still a bargain......Wheatgrass Yogi

The best juices are wheatgrass, carrots, and citrus. It is best to have a separate juicer for each.......WY

I used a Samson Ultra years ago and hated it. It is the same juicer as the Green Power Kempo. I found the gears too small to do any serious juicing. The carrots were difficult to push through. Plus, the wheatgrass produced a lot of foam. It was also difficult to clean, not because of the number of parts, but because of so many cracks and crevices, especially the gear shaft holes.......Wheatgrass

I have a Vita-Mix 5000 (2 hp) that hasn't been enough power for me at times. However, I have a friend who makes Blended Salads in a 1 hp model and does very well with it. It all depends on how hard you 'push' it......Wheatgrass Yogi

Yes, I owned a Samson GB-9001 and used it for years. It is a nice machine for wheatgrass juice even though there's a lot plastic to it. It's fast too for a low RPM juicer. That's because the auger is quite large. I eventually replaced my Samson with a Wheateena Green Label but I have to rate them as a 'toss up'.......Wheatgrass Yogi

Long term benefits of using Wheatgrass Juice? It all depends on what else you're eating. There are just too many variables to speculate long term. I just know that it makes me feel better, both mentally and physically, when I drink wheatgrass juice. I've even debated (with myself) whether to make it the main part of my diet, to really 'Test' it's power........WY

I used to have fungus years ago before I started using a ceiling fan. But it was always a white fungus and on top, not purple on the bottom like yours. I'd try different things with the watering and ventilation if I were you. Your fungus shouldn't be harmful unless you juice some of it in with the regular grass juice. I always wash my wheatgrass very well with RO water before juicing. Perhaps was

I used to own juicers very similar to the two mentioned here.....the Samson Ultra and the Green Life. I didn't like either one of them......too many cracks and crevices to clean. If you have to buy one of them, I'd recommend the Green Star because it has bigger gears. It'll juice better......WY

I think that we can survive in superior health on a juice diet. There's a pressure that builds up in the colon if one lives on solid foods, especially fat, creating mucus and body pain. Liquidarianism eases the pressure, letting the body function like a well oiled machine. I enjoy the following liquid meals......Wheatgrass Juice (3 or 4 ounces at a time)....Carrot-Celery juice.....Orange-Lemon j

I used to own a Breville Juice Fountain Elite. It had 1000 Watts of power and 2 speeds (13,000 rpms and 6,500 rpms). I always juiced at the slower speed but never did like the juicer. It didn't juice without an effort to feed the produce. The cutter plate just isn't engineered properly. I like my Omega 4000 (5,200 rpms) much better. The one thing I did like about the Breville was that it produced
