back in the hippy days-i raised my babies on fresh and raw foods. i mashed everything.combinations i did were-mashed banana mixd with mashed avocado's.my kid sloved this stuff.and mashed avocado's with applesuce.also bananas and pears or banana's and peaches.when a bit older-i made cornmeal with raisins and put soy milk on it.or mixed grain cereal/dried apricots-softened and cashew milk.when they

i have a coffee can and i fill it everyday with kitchen scraps...u can blend them up.hubby drinks coffee-so there is coffee grounds and i blend up banana peels and orange peels and everything and every time it get filled up-i take the can outside and dig a hole and then pour the kicthen compost in the hole...by spring and summer-it is all really good soil.taylor

ok-this is a question i have. it is winter and it is cold and hot soup sounds good.i totally agree with trying to preserve foods vitamins...and i agree with a diet from like the garden of eden.but the climate in the garden of eden was so mild they could run around naked.then after sin...the weather changed.well!anyway-so why can we not cook beans.we have fire and why not heat up a hot potato?well

well-i don't know but what-a celery stalk has what-15 calories. i don't know.i would figure it that way .a medium apple has maybe 80 cals.so everything i put thru the juicer i would add each with a calorie guide and then maybe take a smidge off for the fact that the fiber is not there anymore.of course.i am new to this stuff but that is my thoughts.taylor

well-i started out oct.18th-06 weighing 245.now in a few days i will probably close in on the 195 mark...so when i hit 195,i will have lost 50 pounds since oct.yrs ago-like 6 yrs. i was this weight and got down to a size 4.my stomach had loose skin.it did not recover even with sit-ups.i had big babies-like over 9 pounds.so i don't know if this is it or what.i lost my weight from being on no salt,

i know i "cheated by using redi-burger"...but i made the raw chili and heated the redi-burger to mix in-as a warmer for the raw chili.maybe everyone knows redi-burger is a meat substitute.it is vegan and i am still trying to do all raw but having to fix things to convince and help hubbys health too.and for us to try and get thinner.taylor

hi rawrocks-i found another recipe for buckwheat.it is 5c.of buckwheat,sprouted and 5t.of honey,5t.of sucanat raw sugar,5t. of vanilla,3t. of cinnamon,2t.of sea salt,and 1c.of raisins,and 1/2c.of dates,chopped.partially process all the ingredients in a food processor to a sticky consistency.do not cream the misture.spread the mxture directly on dehydrator screens(no teflex sheets)and dry till cru

here's one!2-4 cups of buckwheat and pinch of cinnamon...soak the buckwheat for 8-12 hours and sprout for 2 days,rinsing at least 3 times a day.sprinkle with cinnamon.place on dehydrator tray and dehydrate for 6-8 hours at 105 degrees or until dry and crispy.good luck an dlet me know how it is...taylor
